micro-upgrades questions

From what I understand here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=186269           now, every time we go up grade we are rewarded. But when it was introduced this system some had already risen to a position, such as Generalissimo. At that time I was Lieutenant General and I have received 160000 crystals. Instead it says that if we were Generalissimo we receive all the crystals of all grades who have already passed. 

Now the questions: 

1) I was Lieutenant General, because I only got 160000 and also those of all the other 24 degrees already passed? 

2) when I get to General or any other degree will I receive the diamond, such as rising to GeneralI I will receive 184000 diamond?

1. You received 160000 for being the rank of LtG at the time of the update.

2. When you rank up you will receive 24000 (not 184000)

 

184000 is 160000 + 24000 (what you got before, plus what you will get with the new rank)
