I used to play with a Shaft top and Mammouth hull, I started slowly improving reload speed, heavy hitting ability and speed of the hull. Having done this so far, the actual speed and reload speed just seems to have gone down. It is so slow that I have stopped using Shaft, why is it all so slow now? or is it a technical problem?

As said above^ with the new physics, Shaft's reload and the majority of its stats were nerfed. Continue discussion of the gun here.

Yes, almost every stat was nerfed, but the gun as a whole was buffed
