Do you feel safe using your main Account in the Forum

Wow guys as you clearly can see above you can't speak your mind in this forum ever

I would be scared of using my main if I were you. Sorry but the thing you were banned for was clearly a violation.

Please, if you don't agree, pm an administrator.

This topic was going well at first, let's make sure a positive and constructive discussion continues, so that it stays open.

Thank you everyone for understanding.

Haha just noticed that the "l" in the alt account is actually a capital i. Well to keep this on topic, this is my alt account too and yeah... I mostly use my main.

Forum is not safe at any angle

exept partcipating any contest dont use your main account at any cost, because you never know you will ban a little bit ' against rule" line can ban you even 1 year later.

in my personal experience 1 got ban 2 times for same reason by " some mod " & I affraid they can ban me finally by using same topic

> if you see in chat some one giving battle link 100 time but they dont got ban  you give 5 time & you got a warning

> some one use all matter by CAPS they dont got ban , you highlight a line in CAPS you got ban

> in my opinion never visit violator section / it is the most dangerious section in forum

> if want to say against tank game / mods / rules / buyers / druggers for give your account which you used in forum

at last for me its safe that not write anything in forum because

1000000000 rules against you but not single against tanki, & its impossible mind all rules line by line

I agree 100% with the OP.

I am about to retire my main account from the forum (not from the game), since it is blatantly apparent that I cannot post anything without getting, well, you know.

For once I actually agree with you on something  ^_^

Keep dreaming, Semyon. This thread probably can't even get to 4 pages before the title gets a lock next to it.

If you, Players, really can't have 2 more pages of normal non-rule breaking discussion, then this is sad...

Ok, then explain the "Your favorite forum moderator (NO DISCUSSION)" thread to me.

The thread was deleted by BarbaFenner (Not sure why), so I can't view it

Jamesm10 was a good mod, remember him, and also it is useless to make a topic on about this on general, and if you read the rules, they say what you get banned for, and obey them and you'll be fine.. :)

I have always used my Main account other than to win prizes with my alt in the Forum. and as I said when I created this topic I always worry about every post I create or reply to.

The main reason is  because I have always considered applying for a position within Tanki to help the game and its players achieve  the most out of the game.

As I take on more responsibility in the community I find I am getting into dialogues and responding to players and staff more and more often.

So as I progress I feel I am taking on more and more risk of minor bans, and really feeling the need to review every word, line and post I make and whether or not to post, as even one or two minor bans can affect your eligibility with  future plans as well as an inconvenience to have dialogue with staff and members as well as creating games and running a clan.

I think even the most conservative member has on many occasions had concerns of replying to posts or bringing up issues they feel relevant as it may bring on unwanted scrutiny, and increase the likelyhood of the "big brother watching syndrome"

I have felt a respect in the past but in some ways always feel the need to second guess the risk vs the benefit of making or replying to a post.

Then what's the point of the forum?

I guess your right, but all I am trying to say is, these mods are trying their best to help us, and all you people jump to hate for them.. They also do a very awesome job, some bans can you make very mad, some times their are mistakes by the mods, but I remember their

trying their best..

I disagree. I actually have never paid attention to my posts, to check whether they are good or not. There are a lot of rules, yeah, but they are easy to follow, if you're mature. Banning for trolling, well, trolling, I don't think we can count that mature. Banning for flooding (purposely) neither. An adult like you, should not have any problem creating posts, as you are mature, and I know you are. You need confidence. I never reviewed my posts, I asked only once whether my post was bad or not (pre-mod time). The huge amount of rules make it look bad, but they are very easy to follow as 80% is real life ethics. You don't write nazi symbols, not in real life, not on the forum.

Yes.

Whenever I make a joke, or post a gif; I pause and think twice:

Can it be considered trolling in any way shape or form?

Can it be considered insulting in any way shape or form?

I'd love to not have to consider this for everyone of my posts

Wow so the first sentence is true of my statement in which i was ban for...

I clearly will be appealing this ban

Oh so in this forum they want only positive to make them look good...it is exactly like a certain someone they don't want to be criticized to make the game better they want the forum their way not the peoples way so all people who want to speak their true opinion can't....

Be aware there is almost no freedom of speech here something we have in Canada! <_<

oh and i do post on my main account all the time when i get ban i just post on my accounts and talk same way...so banning me really does nothing.

One question to Semyon here and this is a very honest one:

Why are the forum chat and lobby chat directly linked. If you are banned on forum why are you punished in game??

Now if i get ban for that question i am sending a complaint to whoever runs the internet to shutdown this place

You must see the difference between opinion and fact. You stated that as a fact. It makes people feel unsave here, something we try to avoid. You might as well try to look the other way. If you tell people such things, they feel unsafe here, which ruins the fun. Freedom of speech and forum rules are not complying. I don't know about Canada, but in Holland we have constitutional law, which forbids discrimination, racism etc. On the other hand, we have a law for "freedom of speech". These 2 collide with each other. The same happens here, there is freedom of speech, but limited of course (sounds odd, but if you understand my examply, you get what I am saying.

Edit: ninjaposted a few times. This was answer on Canada's post
