Changing weapons without leaving a battle

A long time ago, there was a feature in Tanki Online that allowed players to change weapons and hulls without leaving the battle. Calling it a feature is an overstatement though, as it was caused by a mistake in the code. The bug was fixed when we moved to the new server platform. Recently we've decided that the ability should be present in the game. This time, not as a bug but as a full-scale feature.

The system will not just let players change weapons, hulls and paints; it will allow them to go to their garages, list of battles or Payment menu without loosing the score and place in a battle. Equipping other weapon or paint, buying some supplies — all of it will soon be possible.

However, to prevent tankers from using the feature all the time and spoiling the game experience to others, it was decided that each type of equipment can only be changed once every 15 minutes.

Implementing this feature requires changes in the game’s battle system. After that, our guys will need to slightly rework the interface and test it all.

A detailed review of all functions of the system will be out with the update itself.

What happens to your tank whilst your otherwise engaged out of battle?

as currently & correct if I`m wrong when you pause others can still kill you

so I`m thinking you will be frozen & a shield placed around you to prevent the above. 

 

Also what about how long you can be out of battle  with regards to the kick feature ?

That argument is currently the same now, nothing really new with the update. People can still just join with Prodigi. The only way of getting round that would be what BuddyGuy suggested.

another question, how long people can go to garage room and return back to game,

 

since some people can just go garage and take ages for them to make up their mind on which weapon to use,

 

then leaving the rest in battle keep fighting.

 

since right now, it is like if you dont move your tank for 5 min, you will be kicked out.

also, what if one team start with fast light hull with freeze isida, and  got the 1st flag,

 

then all go defensive heavy tank with smoky, isida, freeze.

and all sit on flag.

and also, there should be a notify feature like rankup lighting effect to indicate someone that changing weapon. so opposite team can do some action in advance. :ph34r:

 

if buying supplies, there would be greate having some drop supply to that guy animation. B) ... of course, a bit too much animation for that

Is the player will see that it can again make a change? . As will be seen this option for the player?
