Changing weapons without leaving a battle

Developers, please give us the option to turn this feature OFF/ON when creating a battle. This will remove the need for an 'XP' mode, since we can simply disable the feature.

What about filters too? Or at least for XP battles since they are the most popular.

Better yet , make an option to turn it off in pro battles. And I think once every battle is just fine.

If there was no corruption in the games, I would think this is a good deal. Unfortunately, there is more corruption than I think the ‘admins know about. There is enough unfair advantage because of this corruption as it is now, with game rigging, multing, etc....If this is implemented, I think the there should be a separation of these games, from the games that do not have this feature. They should be clearly marked, so that people can choose whether or not they want to play in a regular battle, or a battle in that allows you to jump in and out every 15 minutes. This would be similar to how the pro battles are marked, compared to regular battles. Only you wouldn’t pay crystals to get into theses new switch battles. You might even consider calling them “switch battles” or “switch games”. Please take my suggestion into serious consideration. Let's not forget, those who are less fortunate than others will be the future of Tanki. It's the small details that can either make or break a company.

You should be able to deactivate this function at will, like with supplies and micro-upgrades.

NOTE: It will also encourage more people to buy Pro-Battle passes. However, since there will be more of a need to buy a Pro-Battle pass, I think the price should be decreased slightly because I can easily see ALOT more people wanting to buy one... so Tanki will break-even, rather than getting rich off of Pro-Battle passes. How about 3,000 crystals for a Pro-Battle pass? Then almost everyone would buy one, and from a much lower rank, and everyone can play freely how they want to! I can guarantee your customers would like this.

I agree. If these battles are not separated, it will ruin the game. It's bad enough with all the druggies and mults, and friends playing on both sides, messing your team up so their friends win, and then in the next game the friends that won, mess up their team so that the friends that lost the first game can win.

I think rather than this, there should be preset combo when we go to garage, so if we want to change, we can change to one of those combo only. There will be 3 combos which we can set in our garage when not in battle. This would not create that much problem.

Also a question,

Are we able to change entire tank, like from freeze hornet alien to tundra rail hornet? Or only one thing like freeze hornet alien to freeze mammoth alien?
And another. What happens if battles ends when we are changing?

I do not think this will be good for medium ranks who do not have many alternatives paints and turrets. This will be an advantage to those who have a fully equipped garage and have many M2's and M1's(according to my rank) Please have a feature of a mini garage which contains 1 of each(turret, hull and paint). During a battle a player should have access to only his mini garage and not the main one.

Wait... Can you upgrade in the battle?

If you can, get rid of it!!!!!!!

Some people rank in battle therefore it would give them an advantage (i.e.  A gerfeiter to Sargent major battle, a sargent major ranks and gets m1 viking and m1 freeze -_-    Would be unfair!!!)

In my opinion, there should be some more additional constraints placed around this capability to prevent misuse (similar to the scenario with team kick right now).

I hope the developers keep some of the following scenarios in mind to make sure that the game still remains fair and fun to play.

a. Its a 1-1 CTF or TDM battle with a big battle fund and a time limit of like 60 minutes and a cap limit of 100. Both players are neck and neck with scores at 98:99. The player with the 99 score leaves to the garage with just 1 minute left in the game. If the player had stayed, scores could have leveled or the other player might have won. By strategically moving to the garage and preserving the score with this capability, the player exploits this feature to win the game....I don't think this would be fair to the other player. One solution to this: don't let players go to the garage if the cap limit will be reached in 15 caps or 5 minutes in case of a timed battle.

b. High ranked Player A starts a 60 minute CTF or TDM game with a M1/M1 combo. Soon other players join and player A's team is losing. All players now have a score in excess of 150. Player A moves to the garage and brings a M3/M3 combo and begins drugging. By preserving place in the battle, Player A suddenly swings the battle around and takes advantage of the battle fund that has now increased. Players who don't have a high combo or don't have drugs have been unfairly tricked into losing their share of the fund because 1 player exploits this capability. One solution to this: don't let players bring higher ranked combos to an existing game. So, for example, if a player is playing M1/M1, he can go to the garage and get another M1/M1 but not a M3/M3.

I agree with point a , and disagree with b .

I seriously doubt that.  An 'xp mode' as you call it is still well needed.  It would be good to see devs work on this after the above update.  It is something many many many people have been asking for a while, and if you think its mostly non buyers asking for this, you'd be surprised as to how many buyers want an 'xp mode'

I'm against it! Buyers are already raping us all the time. This feature is just another advantage to those with a full garage and all the fancy paintjobs. We are already outgunned and outdrugged, now we're gonna be outgunned by the ideal weapon against us, while we cannot change since we don't own an alternative equipment.

At least it should be an option to turn it off when creating a battle.

Yes these battles should be separated, and clearly marked. It's no fun when druggy's invade your game, who already have better hulls/turrets because of their rank, when you can't afford to do the same.

It doesn't seem a bad change to me - new people can join the opposing team with a new spread of weapons for which you have a useless paint. But I think being able to change all of them is a bit too easy. I think it would be better to be only be able to change one property in the 15 minutes. So you can change a turrent or a hull or a paint, but not all three, or even two. That would make people have to think more carefully.

I don't see any problem with people being able to buy supplies - they could have bought the supplies before the battle anyway.

One thing I do fear is that while people are at the garage, they aren't playing. That means the teams are uneven, and no-one can join to replace them. For battles with small teams, that could be a disaster. I hope there will be some strong limitation on time (even the pause timeout of 5 minutes is way too long if you ask me - some battles are only 15 minutes in the first place), and you'll still be able to vote them off.
