Changing weapons without leaving a battle

equipment can only be changed once every 15 minutes.

 

​I think that off there is a really long battle, there should be a time limit for changing equipment, but only for limited times as well.

For example:

1. There is a battle with no time limit and 100 cap CTF battle. You should only be able to change every 5-10 captures.

2. There is a battle with a crazy amount of time, then you should only be able to change every 15 minutes.

3. There is a battle with like 100 cap CTF, but a long time too, then only go by the time limit.

It seems that changing weapon in battle going to cost something like self-destroy

 

I really don't like that i'll set a lot of mines and I want to change weapon/hull/paint and I have to self-destroy :(

 

I really would like it to be some thing better.

You can take mammoth too if you want, and yes you can have it just m1 but then play against your own rank and not against Gissimo's, also mammoth doesn't give you an advantage, it's way too slow. I take almost 90% of my golds with Wasp.

A long time ago, there was a feature in Tanki Online that allowed players to change weapons and hulls without leaving the battle. Calling it a feature is an overstatement though, as it was caused by a mistake in the code. The bug was fixed when we moved to the new server platform. Recently we've decided that the ability should be present in the game. This time, not as a bug but as a full-scale feature.

 

The system will not just let players change weapons, hulls and paints; it will allow them to go to their garages, list of battles or Payment menu without loosing the score and place in a battle. Equipping other weapon or paint, buying some supplies — all of it will soon be possible.

 

 

However, to prevent tankers from using the feature all the time and spoiling the game experience to others, it was decided that each type of equipment can only be changed once every 15 minutes.

 

 

Implementing this feature requires changes in the game’s battle system. After that, our guys will need to slightly rework the interface and test it all.

 

A detailed review of all functions of the system will be out with the update itself.

So I can change my weapon,and 2 minutes after  I can change my tank,and 5 minutes after  I can change my paint?

Ummm..don´t know. Thought about it many times. It may simply destroy every strategic points of every player, when suddenly you are faced with long range guns instead of like a couple of Freezes and an Isida earlier.

Session gets easily screwed up..

Think about planting 5 mines to your perimeter, and suddenly every enemy tank is only sniping from afar. Wasted.

the situation being done presently by unscrupulous  players with the use of two accounts logged into server. I will not go into detail of their tactics, as too many players already use this method to win battles and it is using a known exploit of the game which include the use of 3rd party programs as well to get into the game with their strong account and take over. The fair players who worked hard to build the fund are left to stay with lighter equipment or leave and lose all their points to change in their garage and most definitely will not be able to re-enter so equal access to the garage is a good thing.

No, dont go into details here, but make sure you PM a Dev so that they know. In all liklyhood they already have heard of this and are working on it, but just PM them to make sure.
