How is your place in the team calculated

I am new here and have been playing some team games.

I noticed in some games the score given to each player does not seem to follow number of kills - number of losses ration.

Is there any explanation of how this is worked out?

Well welcome to Tanki. In team battles, the score is calculated by the number of kills you get and depending on the kind of team battle, points are given by capturing flags and returning it if it's far enough from your base in CTF, killing enemies by a % in TDM and capturing points CP and healing allies with Isida.

If you shoot a hornet with your railgun in a TDM and you don't 1 shot it and a team mate kills it, you get a certain % of the xp. It's 10 points per kill so if you 80% damage a tank you get 8 points. In CTF, by capturing flags you get points determined on how many players are on the opposing team and how far you carried to flag. If you lose it and a fellow team mate gets it and captures it, you get some xp and points. In CP's, it's given by how much you affect the point.

Now there is always a better explanation out there and I promise you'll get a more accurate answer. But hopes this helps
