I have had enough of seeing M2 Hornets using Tundra. It's a disgrace. You tell people to stop ruining XP Battles, while you're sitting there taking two M1 Rail shots without so much as flinching. And that's not even mentioning the unfair advantage you get with Supplies. I don't care whether you get one-shotted by M3 Railguns once in a blue moon if you use 10%. Its so much fairer. And if you want to be "equal", save up for a 20% paint. I see way too many experienced XP players using Tundra with M2 Hornet against M1 Railguns without batting an eyelid. It's a disgrace.

Would make perfect sense if you posted that from a lower ranked alt.  But seeing a gissmo complain about M2 Hornets-Tundra in XP is just tooo hilarious mate rofl-smiley-gif-800.gif

What is so hilarious about it?

Here is a genuine Generalissimo who is trying to improve the overall XP gameplay by telling what a disgrace it is if you

enter an XP with a Hornet M2 with Tundra. He wrote the XP guide so obviously he cares about it.

And is his own rank important in this?

He is simply right you know, because so many do use Tundra on M2 that it may even seem ok...

but if you really understand the spirit of XP, you wait till you can obtain a proper paint.

Most of the times it is just a matter of saving crystals for other upgrades.

Sandstone is too expensive it seems...well in the next discount it 's just 41.250.

Obviously for many Hy6 still too much for fairplay.

Well, keep especially caring about your own high rank issues and also keep on ROFL...

Having the other team capture the winning flag because their flag-carrier survived two of your shots is not something to laugh about..

say what you want guys, its still a good one  when a gissmo moans about an M2 tank with tundra.  Its funny everywhere and all the gissmos and other high rank xp players I know have got nothing against that, sometimes it happens they gain an advantage when shots passes through others, or when drops are on, but its really benign and we're happy having low ranks or M2 tanks join in our games with tundra, they are much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much and all that much, each individually typed much better than dealing with noobs joining battles with non xp combo and the super funny crazy losers who change equipment in middle of game cause they are being beaten, and not to mention the non-noobs very intentional xp ruiners who do it well knowingly for their own gain or lulz.

Compared to these, an M2 tundra is an always welcomed bro for us in high rank games.

As for low rank xps, yes you guys have a case.  You should let these guys know that tundra is OP against M2 rails or lower and that he should change.  In that case I believe forester should be the max they should have as even savannah or sandstone at 20% may prove too much in drops game against M2 or even M1 .

Nice topic! :)

I find that most hornet m3's don't follow the paint guidlines. Most use paints like prodigi and with micro upgrades turned on, will they survive 2 rail m3 or m2 shots?

Good point ya and some enter with dictator m2 or viking m2 and they won't change to hornet or wasp.

XP also means

Hornet Rico -.-

Or Hunter Rico...

Trust me - XP players won't be happy when you enter the battle with Hornet Rico, I tried ;)

A fun thing to do though is to create a Hornet-Rico battle on the first server and call other players with railgun noobs because they aren't following your format :D

Dear felllow tankers,

Let me also add my views.

1. If you would come to XP battle and some players use "bad" weapon or paint that does not mean right away they are bad spoilers. It could be they were punishing abuser(s) - and abuser(s) may left the game to that moment. How can you tell ? It is difficult or even impossible. Just try to feel it. Normal players you can tell easy - try to remember them (and sure they will memorize you too) - the more you play the more you will know. Abusers (neadekvat) - are often the same nicks or low rank...

2. Do not get too angry. Do not take it personally. I think that abusers are part of gameplay. Like bad guys in real life. They do exist. Try to punsh them if you are strong enough. Do not complaint but change your weapons and paint and play hard and well (you should sacrifice your 1st place maybe). Help other players to do this. Or leave if you feel that you are not any help to your team. This would be much better emotions when your team will be a winner !!! It is just another small victory over "bad guys of universe". Hahaha. TO is great Game for giving you such possibilities. By the way it is much easier to tell good person (not a tank player !!!) when he is loosing.

3. You must keep in mind that "bad guy" could be just a small child. So do not be rude. It is just a game but this child may learn good or bad even here.

4. Playing XP you must understand that you automatically join "special" society. You should behave but you may force others to behave. You may be openhearted and generous. Or you may be dark and evil. It is up to you. But you will soon see what other players would exclaim when you would load... Hi (privet drug) or... nothing at best.

*** When I was juat a small rank noob. I still remember that battle. I tried my best. I was such proud to play with such a big guys. And then - my team (all high rank generals) left battle altogether just before I put last flag. Why ? They gave ME personally all that big fund like a present. It was a complete shock for me. Next moment I understood how good are people and what a great game is TO. I still proud of me as well - it looks I played well enough... Thanks those guys.

Good luck all !

The general rule is: don't fight fire with fire. If you enter a format battle and see chaos, instead of starting to shoot as well, either leave, or try to negotiate and work out what is wrong in chat first. If a player enters with the wrong combination (e.g. wasp-smoky) and starts ruining the battle, you won't become a heroic vigilante if you change into mamoth-smoky-savanna to punish him. You will simply be another inadequate player.

As a general rule I fully agree !

It is better to negotiate if possible and if there is time for it.

Sometimes it is just impossible. Many times I met that somebody from loosing team were trying to win at any means and changed weapon and paint. There is no way to negotiate but fight. Sometimes it is critical (skilled smoky + prodigy can really change the XP battle from 13-0 to 14-15). There are players who do it on purpose. Specially when there is no changeover allowed in the battle.

I side those who want to teach them.

Though there is a risk that you are helping "wrong" team. Mistakes happen...

Trying to have a lot of adequate friends - then you know which side most probably right one.

Unfortunately this community (like any community) is far from perfect. The best solution is to organise a group of friends, who share the same interests, and play closed battles together.

I somewhat dislike perfect communities.

Closed battle is not for everyone. Random could be really fun. Playing random with friends is even more fun.

P.S.

Thx for your comments. Still hope our discussion will be helpful to others.
