Question on the mechanics of Shaft...

 

When you hear that Shaft warmup sound, is there still time to evade or does it mean you are already locked-on and doomed?  I've ducked behind walls, below ledges, etc... and still gotten hit from crazy angles.  Is there anything you can do when that Shaft music starts?

well, being an expert shafter myself, the tip is not to let the barrel of your gun (especially if you have railgun, I have gotten people behind walls just cause the length of their barrels)

Sure, the shaft is just charging at this point you can push his tank to make him redirect or shoot him or simply run away.

Duh!  I just realized I've been confusing Shaft and Railgun this whole time.  It's the railgun that I hear spooling up... and I am doomed.  Such is the short busy life of the Wasp pilot.  :ph34r:

I must have been playing :D You have to be smarter than a shaft they can tunnel vision and you can flank them easily.
