Upgrade or buy M1

Recommended Posts

If you have chosen a turret like Thunder, is there any point in upgrading all the features such as damage, reload or should you try to by M1?

So does M1 start with the same features whether you have upgraded M0 or not?

Does it cost more to fully upgrade M0 then buy M1?

If you only upgrade some M0 features then buy M1, do you get any discount or have you wasted your crystals?

dont upgrade till u have m2 then u can make 2-3 upgrades in the field u want like damage etc.

prefer buying m1 then upgrading m0.

Its not worth it. Get m1. In my opinion thunder is the most powerful m0 turret

Yeah but M2/M3 aren't that strong and there are too many paints - cedar, rustle, emerald - that people use a lot.

When planning to upgrade a particular hull or turret, majority of the time it is best to buy the complete upgrade, as it is the most efficient way to save crystals. By purchasing micro-upgrades, such as the ones you mentioned, you receive a tiny boost in that aspect, and receive no discount unless you FULLY upgrade a single parameter of that equipment. By completing one full parameter, you receive a small discount. By upgrading every single parameter to max, you can get a 70% discount on the next modification. This however is not recommended unless you are swimming in crystals. It is extremely expensive to do this. If you want the benefits of Micro-upgrades while saving as many crystals as possible, only upgrade the first 1-3 stages of the most important parameters, these are cheaper and provide a greater increase of stats.

If you Micro-upgrade an item's parameters, and then choose to upgrade it to the next modification, you will lose all micro-upgrade progress, reverting back to the start - so its far more beneficial to focus micro-upgrading only M3 items since these are permanent.
