Is using your computer a lot & playing tanki making you feel ill?

Hello :)

the reason why I`m asking is to help a friend of mine do some research at university Oxford to be exact.

They are currently doing a study on the effects of computer overuse obviously not tanki but overuse in general

So could you tell me if you have noticed any change in your general health?

headaches, sickness, burred vision, musculoskeletal disorder? *pains in your limbs neck arms wrists back* etc anything different compared to when you did not use your computer a lot

& if you have stopped using it as much as you did have you noticed a positive change in your wellbeing health  etc.

Thank you for any replies as it will help a lot  ^_^

Peace to all

ps this is not about tanki in general but if tanki is the main reason you use a computer then it`s important you add your comments.

When i once played Need For Speed World for 6 hours straight to save for the Lexus LFA, I got headaches, and some sickness that i can't describe.

Please count as @Playep, I'm still banned -.-

No, but I've been seeing this lately...Only when I close my eyes.

That`s quite creepy ;)

but I suspect it would make in into an art gallery if the current crop of art is anything to go by?

thanks now my dreams will be filled with parrots with red dots :P

Ehhh.. No.

Nothing till now, except that if I go get myself something after the overuse of PC, I start feeling like falling.

I don't think that this happened because of overuse of PC, but because of staying sitting for long.

Yes...Proper seating is a must have, for those long 5 hour games... I have a very comfortable chair, and a also put two soft couch pillows on it. One that I sit on, and the narrow rectangular one for the lower back. Lighting and atmosphere are also important. A dimly lit room, and water to drink...And a tank hat (wont go there, so don't ask... :)). Conclusively, leg circulation is important the harder your chair, the less circulation, which causes your vertigo (feeling of falling).

there is something called "computer eye" which you can get just from using a computer not just playing games, you end up feeling dizzy or  motion sick from scanning your eyes up and down to much. Your eyes can go completely cross eyed in severe cases. If you rest, lie down and get off the computer it goes away

Look who's talking ok

And yes, monkeyburn, I don't sit properly at all, I sit on a couch which is not soft at all.

But well, I'm used to it ok
