math behind TO Reward

 Share

Recommended Posts

at the end of every game we play, TO give us some Crystal: someone know how ? for example, I play CFT , and everybody know that the team who lose have less crystal, and it depend from captured flag ... but how exactly ?

Some of you have some clue about it ?

Sometimes when you make people RQ, and you win the battle by yourself, you don't get all the crys, so maybe you won a battle with no one else in a 105 fund battle, but you only get 103 crystals. It's probably very complex.

It would be very difficult to find out, but usually you can guess, based on your score, the battle score, and the fund. (If your team has captured 0 flags, your whole team gets 0 reward regardless of how much time or effort you put into the battle.)

It is the division of the fund amongst the player's score, depending on how much people are there and the total amount. And cause depending on the rank, kills/flags are worth more or less Eg: A kill at the rank First Leutenant will raise the battle fund 6 crystals crystals a corporal's kill will rais the battle fund 0.5 crystals(it doesent actually show 0.5 crystals, he just has to make 2 kills to raise the battle fund one  crystal).

thank you, all of you. The first thing to do (IMHO the big point) is find how the battle found is divided between the two teams. Then it would be easy (I hope !) find how to divided between alla the player of the same team (sometings to do with the score and the D/L)

But the hard part is the first point ... it's not only about how many flags the two team captured

PS: many years ago I used to be very smart with maths at school ... now I will see if I can remember something :-)

True.

Also for teams though the crystals are divided up by percentage. if the winning team has 10 flags and the losing team has 5 then obviously the 10 flag team gets twice as many crystals :)

noooo :-) usually the % of crystal are 90% for winning team and 10% for losing team (it's only an example, not the real number)

Here is an example of a scoreboard showing the ten players on the side that won in a ctf battle 20-0.

Anyone like to draw any conclusions?

unfortunately I don't have any conclusion, but we can see something : the total score is 1836, the total reward are 1408.
the first player
score 289 (15.74% of 1836 total score)
reward 273 (19.39% of 1408 total reward)

the last player
score 110 (5.99% of total score)
reward 62 (4.40% of total reward)

then .. it's not a simple percentage, but there is something else ...
Like you, I take print screen when a game ended, and I have some example.

It's a nice challenge :-)

Once you found the result please let us know!

hi,

I start to find some roles. How TO divide the Reward between the two team on CFT ? . Of course when there are a draw is 50% each one, and when a team have 0 flags, all the rewards will go to the winner team ; but when one team won and the loser team got at least one flag ?
these are the formulas

-team A won with X flags
-team B lost with Y flags
-total amount of reward = C

-Cry for team A = L
-Cry for team B = W

reward for team B will be

W=C*((25*(((Y/X)*100)/100))/100)

reward for team A

L=C-W

there are some 'arrangement' with rounding, but generally ... it works  :)
I hope some staff member can confirm that ... may be (may be they would say I am totally wrong  :(   )
