Kill/death award avoidance by logging or self-destruction

Many players have taken to logging out to avoid death when upside down or having taken significant damage. The log-out process is too rapid, or should at least credit the last opposing player to cause damage within a specific time period with a kill.

 

Another issue is that many players have also taken to self-destruction when taking damage to avoid the opponent being awarded the kill. Because this is done to avoid awarding the kill to the other player, it is a form of cheating. Again, self-destruction within a specific time period of taking damage from another player should award the kill to the other player and therefore team.

 

In both cases, players are taking advantage of these lapses to cheat another player out of kills and points. Therefore, these failures should be fixed.
