When noobs annoy you

MAYBE NOOBS ARE JUST INCAPABLE OF RATIONAL THOUGHT (even Gizmos can be noobs)

Here's the story today:

1) All the inferior RED enemies (noobs?) quickly leave the Pro Battle that foolishly has no time limit.

2) Most of the BLUE team are non-compos-mentis and do not even realize they need to capture the 27 flags to end the battle

3) All the BLUES except me leave. (noobs?)

4) I run to make 12 more captures to collect my reward but...three REDS arrive and kick my butt

5) The RED trio starts capturing flags while I pause and hide, waiting for them to win out...

HERE COME THE REAL NOOBS -- new Blue guys join and despite getting killed repeatedly, keep coming back 6 or 7 times, and THEN THEY LEAVE....what did they accomplish except giving battle funds to the enemies and letting more of them join? Hi, I'm a noob. Please kill me over and over.

Story has a happy ending. RED noobs start showing up too, swelling the teams to a dozen, and the RED trio who couldn't be bothered to end the battle...LOST to a whole pile of non-noobs, who captured the remaining flags and made me a hero and top scorer.

If you had a video of that showing it to the mods, they could ban him.

It has happened to me in silence and noise. I mostly do it to the enemy in noise with rail because that throws him out of the map.

I had just the opposite experience. I was about to be killed by the Reds in Noise with the WINNING FLAG!

So rather than go off the map, I jumped toward the *MIDDLE* and when I got killed, I got thrown outward, and the flag fell straight down to be captured by my teammates! We won!

Playing Rio CTF for red team.

Zip around the corner on the beach side alley to grab the heavily guarded blue flag. Then throw into reverse in hopes of escaping the worst of the blue team defensive fire.

And run into my teammate who has just died directly behind me. In the three seconds it takes for his tank to disappear I get knifed by at least two rail guns and crisped by the defensive firebird. All of which could have been avoided that that red team noob not tailgated me.

When dem noobs get a drug right in front of u when they have almost no health and then die.

When noob with full health takes the health package when they have full health and u right next to them and needed it desperately.

When noobs, most of the time twins and ric though not always, try to flip someone on the same team to get the flag from them.

I had a flag in silence and was jumping from that cliff like thing when a noob smoky in my own team shot me and I landed upside down. Share your experiences below

They are not noobs.

They are sabateurs playing for the opposing team on your team.

The blue team had a sabateur on your red team.

Instead of calling players that don't understand how to play "noobs", why don't we try teaching them what is the correct thing to do?

Everybody was a "noob" at one point.

We need more topics about tips and tricks of this game. Maybe some more videos for new players.

There aren't more topics required , I think there's enough of them. The forum needs some advertising though. I'm sure there are very much players who don't know about the forum , or just think it isn't important.

How does anyone show a video on how to play without sabateuring?
Oh, by showing normal common sense playing.

Ummm, they already know how to do that.

EDIT: by sabateuring, I mean like what Qfu10 and austen_pierce described

People call anybody a noob who does what they disagree with.
So in essence, everyone is a noob at all stages.

But my personal preferred usage of the word is limited to its original meaning: a beginner

People call be a noob whenever I drug. I don't mind. If it's the difference between a flag capture and a death, yeah, I'll hit that 1 key.

Nothing wrong with that. Now using supplies when you don't really need them is wrong and I consider someone like that a mindless drugger.  But not a noob. To me a noob is a player who doesn't know any better due too being "new".

Someone posted that a beginner should be called a newbie

A noob is someone who acts like a beginner but shouldn't based on their rank.

For instance I played a Lt Colonel game last night with a wasp rail who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Shot the floor, walls, buildings... Everything that WASNT me. No excuse for utter ineptitude at that rank.... So that's a noob. BUT what I suspect was really going on... That guy was probably a pro at another turret and is just now experimenting with rail after the 50% StarSeries sale.

Your example is one possibility.

Another is the hack that allows noobs to join the game at higher levels while skipping the first level.

But people also call people noobs simply for successfully countering their cheating (ie/ hacking and/or sabotaging) without also cheating (though maybe using drugs, which is not cheating). I've had that happen against them in times I used drugs and times I did not, where in both types of scenarios I did not hack/sabotage.

Cheating players also call players noobs when the victims do not cheat but complain about the cheating.

But yes, back to your example: that is the understandable fair terminology

EDIT: though sometimes cheaters will intentionally have tanks misfire with their alternate accounts (sabotaging)

I was playing on my alt yesterday ( he's on the first m1 ranks) and I was playing a brest ctf, we were winning for 3-4 flags, I had the flag and there was a guy driving right behind me I thought it'll be good to give him the flag so I pressed f. But later I was waiting in the opponent's team base to grab the flag after the cap, and that guy came in and pushed me making me fall upside down...., twice!!! And later on when the opponent team was full again, I had the flag with 1 hp and I was with that guy ( who has full life) on the lower part of Brest, a repair was falling and I think you can guess what he did. I would give him the flag but after he took the repair he just passed over me going to the enemies base.
