Gold boxes are boxes that give extra crystals where you get in places where normal crystal boxes drop. They are uncommon, and they give you normally 1,000 crystals. Before, the boxes drop randomly at any time, but now there is a sign at the top of the screen just 1 minute before when it appears: (gold box will be dropped soon). Even more, previously, the gold Box was worth only 100. This was changed after the Rebalance.

 

Also, on special occasions, gold  box sometimes have increased values like 2,000, or even  3,000. There has even been a  5000 crystal gold box.

 

These boxes have usual locations where they appear, so go and snatch them as quickly as possible. It is even okay to throw your life, totally. Because it's value is very high. It is also very hard to get, since everyone would rush to get it. Enemies will kill you to get it and even teammates will try to push, shoot you, or anything to get the gold box. You would need a good tank (Upgraded) with some supplies, and usually double armor and nitro  , which makes good defense and speed to make your tank unstoppable. If you want to kill an enemy as quickly as possible, you should also consider using double power . The best way to get them is to wait and keep in cover for 30 second near the crystal zone and use the view keys to look for the gold box, it is good to have nitro at this period, to rush for it. At the last moment where you see it, rush and snatch it, sacrifice your life. The battle fund is usually nothing compared to the gold  box, unless you have a really high-score with a long period of game. Also if the area where you get the gold  box is low, then go to the place just above it so you can snatch it on the air. gold  box is a highly profitable box in Tanki Online, as the best dropped resource to collect.
