I owned Thunder M1 for an extremely long time.. it was my favorite weapon when I was around captain rank.. after the Bulldozer kit, I realized I don't like it as much as I used to. Also, I never use Mammoth.

M3 twins. They take forever to MU and are v expensive. 

They are best used for fat tanks on drugs that sit in a CP game. Not my style really

Hammer M2. Strong and OP? At this moment: yes!

 

Still I don 't really regret buying the Hammer.

It was a good experience and another confirmation which turrets

are really my favourites: Thunder, Smoky and Railgun.

 

(That 's why I 'm more anxious about the Vulcan: the new machinegun.

It has more relationship with these three mid- to long-range turrets.

Very curious if the gyroscopic aim makes it pro or noob...

So my new list of favourite turrets in true alphabetical order:

Rail, Smoky, Thunder, (Unity ;)) and maybe Vulcan.)

 

Back to Hammer: I found it a bit boring IMO to play with.

It 's a similar thing that I experienced with the Rico.

Is it the clip that has to reload or the less "precize" aiming: don 't know.

 

Short-range turret players I suppose will enjoy the Hammer:

it 's even good at a halfway short- to medium distance.

 

I played Hammer mostly with the Hornet, which makes it more fun to play with.

And in my experience more effective.

Hunter is a good choice too I think.

Other hulls are just too slow for the Hammer IMO.

Hornet sucks?! And worse than Hunter?! :wacko: Hornet is supposed to be the one of three strongest attacking and defending combinations. I agree that some hate. But I have never heard of a comparison between it and Hunter!

Yes but I have never heard a comparison of Hornet with Hunter. Hunter has more health while Hornet has less, but aggrandized speed when compared to Hunter. Even though health plays a crucial role; Speed also. A minor mistake could cost you gravely. I apologise as I am more of a Hornet fan than Hunter. But I like the idea of Hunter. But I feel Hornet is better.
