March 20 - Disabling team kick

IMO this is a bad change... MAINLY because on a team... you don't kick someone who is a valuable asset... if you kick the drugging mammy freeze who is attacking you are dumb... if you are kicking a smokie wasp the story is completely different... At the same time most of the kicking was done to make room for a friend. I personally think the system was fine but if you really wanted to change it to make it better... only be able to kick someone with under a .80 DL or someone who hasn't gotten a kill in 2 minutes that way you are doing something wrong to be kicked... trust me nobody kicks out a good player... you kick the bad ones I myself was kicked from a few battles where I was in 3-4th place but I understood because it was to make room for a friend who would drug when I wouldn't this was a way for players to express feelings against other players while being discreet.. IMO BAD CHANGE <3... At least add a translator feature or keep russians out of english servers... how do we politely ask them to leave -.-

very bad idea i have lost a big fund battles many times because 1 mult is joining and ruining battle and needs to be kicked or team will lose. when generalissimos are drugging in battles and when mult joins and ruins a battle he needs to be kicked quickly.i think kick system is useful and please dont remove it from game !!!!!!!!! :( :( :( :(

Totally agree with  Who.Cares   .......  and this thing, I noticed that always happens more and more often in recent times.

It happened to me twice just this week ... I'm tired of using my crystals so useless (and losing rewards).

This opportunity is used, mostly in an improper way, especially from the higher ranks that are part of clans (this can not deny it!).

I think it's wrong and it will completely destroy the team battle , we should find another solution . Something as proposed by  Tamilski Tigar on the second page of this topic. Man gave a good proposal  :huh:  :huh:  :huh:  ;)  ;)  ;)  :)  :)  :P  :P

At the moment we are just thinking of the new system, researching it. In the meantime the way to get rid of mults is to use /vote nickname.

I personally don't like these news. I've been to so many games where in our team were not one but two "mult" accounts and this is devastating in small maps like sandbox because 4 players against 2 is not a fair game.

 

You are saying use /vote command. I have personally used it dozens of times and moderator never came. I used the command at different times of day, so surely at least one moderator was on duty. Useless command in my opinion...

simple solution... take in more mods there are many amazing candidates that would make good mods but are declined because of age and chat history from ages ago.... if they accepted more mods then we would not be in this predicament in the first place

Hello, everyone.

 

In 2 days, on March 20, the team kick system, that allowed players to remove others from battles by voting, will be removed from the game. The fact is that it didn't work well enough in Tanki Online. Even though most of the time it was used on purpose, there were examples of it being abused.

 

There is no doubt that systems like that are used in many other games and none of them is flawless. However, Tanki Online has something that almost none of those games has, battle funds and rewards after every fight. Players have something to lose when being removed from battles. It it not right, especially if you get kicked without a reason.

 

We studied statistics, analysed feedback and looked into the issue. The decision is to remove the team kick altogether.

The good news is that we are already planning a new mechanism that will be as flawless as possible.

Thanks you so much for your news. This is good new to some players. accually this kick system is good but some players they use this on their purpose. I tell you my story that i got few time as below:

I tried the best to play and get to the second of the team and good score to compare with other player in battle but they still can kick me out. I tried the best to earn some crystals after the match but they tried to kick me out and i got kick so that my idea to you is still use kick system but other player only can kick if some player with bad score in the game. that players that come to collect crystals while their team must play hard. Please find a way to do that way.

Yeah , players can't decide if you will get rewarded or not, in the end of the battle.

Really? REALLY tanki? Are you kidding with us? Huge mistake. It's hard enough already kick the mults/noobs in the real games and you want to remove the best feature have ever been invented? And now the result is back to the old times, mults and more mults. And of course, specimens like this:

You have the post "Need moods" permanently up in the forum, we know is impossible have moods available when required. Yes, the system has flaws and so what? You can abuse the system in any case!! Every single player knows the deal, a couple of guys came into the game, quietly start to put "players" in the opposite team meanwhile have their own on click, after sometimes, the real game start and you won't stand a chance with those mults in your side. 

 

Pretty sure a high percentage of complains came from crystals farmers who said they were playing. The reasons the system were implemented remains the same, so please, don't think that hard, just tweak the current system a little bit. 

 

But anyway tanki, thank you very much, that's another reason to play only NS battles, were is less likely being multed and the crystals farmers won't enter due the cost of pro passes. I'm sure other gens like me will realized that, and your regular income from top players buying drugs will vanish (sadly, won't be soon enough)

The mods are humans, so by nature are flawed. We need an automatic system, but ..wait, we already have one!! And the ultra-super-hyper-incredible genious from tanki HQ are going to deactivate it. Sad day indeed.

Thank you Tanki for removing this!    I got kicked out many times for NO reason maybe because they did not like my name that's the only thing I could think of .

That is not a problem of "kick", it's a problem of the allowed ranks being too wide.

I hope the new thing will address when you are at the end of a long battle and the other team puts zombies on your team so they can puff up their team with real people then lets the zombies get voted off but it is too late then and you get murdered because you are outnumbered, never mind you just played 4 hours and are 3 flags from winning. This has been happening over and over again for months. Nobody is getting caught banned warned fussed at bad enough else they wouldn't keep doing it.

 

There really has to be some device implemented to prevent imbalances like this from occurring. How would you catch them? By the time you figure out you have been scammed, the zombies are gone and the greifers have already stolen the game.

 

What we are really looking for is team vs team balance.

 

If you want to stay in you can watch, keep your bounty for whatever you earned while the other team was balanced with yours and log out now, people that logged in to start the game get first dibs to stay in.

 

The dirty laundry that is unbalancing the teams sits on the side until the teams even up again.

 

 

The problem is really that people have too easy of a time to figure out which side is going to win before even joining a battle by looking at the scores. Nobody wants to join a loosing team unless they know for sure they can turn it by outnumbering, drugging, greifing, and multing. I have nothing wrong with drugging, that's how the game makes money. Lets just say there comes a point where it is like shooting fish in a koi pond and there is no contest. How is that fun for either side?

Yes, but the problem can be reduced by making the ranking-range smaller.  That way you don't get "noobs" in the battle.  Or, at least less noobish.

One way to help the problem would be to change the way players are allowed to join.  Instead of trying to keep teams numerically equal, Tanki should try to factor in the relative rank-strength of the teams.  So that a 7 vs. 5  or 10 vs. 7 battle might be possible -- if it suits the ranks in play.  Not only would it make for more closely-matched battles, it would lessen the impact of mults, which tend to be low-rank for the battles they join.  If mults see they are having less influence on the outcome, their motivation will fade.
