March 20 - Disabling team kick

How about a method that when clicking a game a pop up appears - "Are you sure you want to join this game?" This would make it harder for mults to even join the battle since most users are using client plus which is an automated clicker. Just something like this would decrease the number of mults joining games, think about it.

1) Maybe we could use a system involving points. If X amount of points are not gained within a certain time period, a player would be removed. Something like 30-40 points per 5 minutes...A timer would appear in the top corner, as a warning. 'You are inactive - you have 2 minutes to score 20 points or you will be kicked out of Tanki for multing." But I'm sure players would find a way around this... it could have some influence though, on the main system... I'll try and think of other ideas and edit this if anything comes

2) Maybe we could develop a system which would require 'game moderators' that specialize in the removing of mults from the game. There would be 10-20 of these for each community, and they would receive notifications if 50% of a team sent vote - similar to the ./vote username system, but it would be a much quicker response since we would have lots of moderators working around the clock to respond to these. Each kick would need to be reported and some sort of proof of rule breaking would be necessary to file. If a player repeatedly was caught multing, that account would be blocked for a long period of time. We would need moderators to be extremely active though, in order to remove these mults within 3 minutes of them appearing... otherwise it significantly reduces the chances that a team can win a match after the enemy puts a mult. As players are blocked, the number of mults would quickly drop in Tanki.

3) Another thing is that we could develop a system to not allow two different browsers to run Tanki Online simultaneously. Many mults are of players alt. accounts who are in existing games. By doing this, it would require two seperate computers to be used, disabling the ability for many users.

4) ...

1 what if you were those heavy hulls that sit on the flag and no one is attacking for 5 mns so u would be kicked . Thats un fair

2 that would be awesome but sadly mods never respond or are rarely online in the most populated servers

3 good idea , liked it

I'm disappointed at this. The team kick, in my opinion, was a key feature in the game, of getting the noobs, and even mults, out of the battle. Good news that you are developing a new kicking system though, but please make it quick. The team kicking feature is very important.

me too...the noobs which do not play and make our team's lose are too annoying...the kick feature allows us to punish the violators with a very easy method....this decision was very dissapointing..they could have done something else to remove unproper kicks but removing the system altogether..i am not liking tthis

4) By allowing you to filter which weapons/hulls/modifications are allowed to join a game, I think we could greatly reduce the number of mults in existance. Many mults join a game with M0's or M1's, where M3s are being used. They also join with a weapon or hull which is useless to the particular game type being played. By allowing players to create limitations when making a match as to what weapons/hulls can be brought into the game, then this will also reduce mults. A simple button would be placed in the 'Pro Battle' options which will say something along the lines of 'Configure equipment filters.' Then you simply check off which items can or can not be brought into the match. If its XP mode, you would disable everything but Hornet and Railgun, and you could disable M0s, and M1s from joining as well. Prodigi paint would also be disabled. This filtering option would be usable only if you have a Pro-Battle Pass.

2, 3 and 4 all sound very effective. Good ideas.

Great! One my account (Tankist1435) get kicked out without a reason! I get voted by players, who all had the same start of their nicknames. I don't know, why. I was carrying flag, and they kicked me off 'cause i didn't give it to them! And thank you guys for removing the kick-system.

this is wrong, very wrong. On the existing kick system you could just implement that first half of the team by points can't be kicked, just like you couldn't kick first player by points.Just expand that to first half of the leaderbord.for example,if the team have 8 players, you can't kick players from 1st to 4th place.I think mults would really have to actually play to prevent others to kick him, that means that he would actually have to do opposite from the intention by which he entered the team. How about that?Wouldn't that be easier?

You must be new here

Ok so some changes tanki can make is, a person who has d/l above 1.00 shouldn't be eligible to get kicked or the person who earned at least 25 points in last 1 minute. This would be helpful and only those who didn't earn 25 points in last one minute or the one who has lass than 1.00 d/l would be kicked. (0.5 d/l for isidas)

Tanki consider this please!

Are you kidding me -______________________-

You just ruined everything... Even when 8 out of 10 players in a team use /vote, not a single mod shows up -_- They never come. Even the notification: Your report has been sent shows up only 10% of the times, when it does it helps a lot to scare these mults, it would be better if the notification always show up.
