What makes you Mad in Tanki? Things you hate/like in the game?

People who insult me in the chat, challenge me to a game, then drug cause they're afraid of losing, even though drugs weren't supposed to be activated. Then they laugh at me and call me noob. :angry:  :angry:  :angry:  :angry:

How did he rank from Recruit to Captain in 1 Day?

I've been playing for 4.5 months and I'm a Sergeant Major!

My brother has been playing for the same amount of time and He's a Warrant Officer 4 going on 5!

He's going to promote before I do.

I drives me nuts!

Depends on how much time you play. :)

 

Take me for example, I have been playing since before the major re-balance, and I'm still only a Major, but that's because I don't play as much as some people do.

Maybe he ranked that much because it was still in the era where you could buy experience.  I find it impossible to rank to captain from recruit in one day.  I have sometime played for 6 hours and only get about 12000 xp.

He also would have had the Score Multiplier from the first Daily Bonus you get when you join.

12000 is a lot.

So max he could get 48000, I think.  He must have bought experience.  12000 isn't really a lot.  To me, a lot is about 100000.

I average less that 500 xp a weekend. 3 hours. 1 Fri, 1 Sat, 1 Sun,

Less that 500 xp.

 

How do you buy experience?

You used to be able to.  When I was playing a lot more several years ago, you could, but it was quite expensive.  For me, I can gain about 2000 xp an hour.  That is in DM though.

I think that's my problem. I only play TDM and when I do play CTF I don't capture the flag.

Can't even take flippers for a minute. I could just about report all of them for just that. One game I was in today I got flipped three time by same person who sat on the middle section on blue flag side at Rio and used hammer to flip everyone as they came to the top. Watched as 4 flag carriers in a row from our team went over as well and they got the flag all four times and the cap as well thanks to our team having great defense.

When I carry a flag and some stupid team mate asks or fights for it.

 

These sales really make me go Insane

Freeze and isida are popular that's why always go up in sale while Fire sits in the corner Forever Alone ._. and doesn't get any good sale at all

It is annoying when team mates take a medical supply for absolutely no reason. :o  This is especially the case when they see another player desperately requiring it, particularly so when carrying the flag :angry: .  It is often junior players but their are a fair number of seniors who also take medical supplies when not needed :angry: .

 

Of course medical supplies have to be denied to the enemy, no Geneva Convention here!  :D

Long Range shots with Shaft require very careful and meticulous aim and repeated corrections.  This is particularly the case with  

targets that move in an unpredictable way.  Other turrets such as Smoky, Thunder and Rail gun, just wave the gun about  without much attention to accuracy and are rewarded with success.  Even on very long range maps this is very evident.  It is a little like watching a Hollywood film where the guy with the sniper riffle misses and the chap with a hand gun takes every one else down while firing from the hip.  All a bit John Wayne or Clint Eastwood taking out machine guns and snipers with hand guns.  The Auto Aim  does far too much for the majority of turrets.  I appreciate that  turrets other than shaft can not be elevated by control and that their operators like the assistance this gives not wanting to bother with elevation but it should not be assisting and compensating laterally left and right also for poor aim.  It is possible for shaft to be out sniped at long range by any of the mentioned turrets which is just ridiculous.  Now it is even worse because shaft emits it search light beacon to all a sundry saying exactly where it is, with its come and get me neon sign illuminating it perfectly!

You should be able to dodge a rail shot, if you see it in time, but it seems to cover a greater area in 3D space than the thin line we see. I've been killed by rail shots that missed by a full tank length, or still hit even though I clearly ducked behind cover. I agree the the auto aim for rail and smokey is a little too good, but thunder not so much, well at least my thunder, that seems to shot over everyone's head. Then you see the thunders that never ever miss. Strange how I can go head to head with my m3 hornet, m3 thunder, emerald paint against an m2 hornet, m2 thunder, and green paint and lose 9 out of 10 times. Funny things keep happening in this game, but according to Tanki, mults, cheaters and saboteurs are not an issue in this game.

Auto Aim is the bane of Tanki.  Not to be confused with the recent update.  Autoaim for Rail gun covers a Cone of 28 degrees.  On large maps that covers an absolutely huge area.  That is why some guns like rail are so successful it allows unskilled players to make kills without aiming the gun.  They only have to casually wave it about and bang you are dead!  It should be consigned to the bin
