From Flash to Unity

Interested how you know your computer will blow up with Tanki on Unity, before even trying it. Really, it's a bit..to judge things even before they come out. Just wait and see :)

Ok, but most of games that i play run slow at unity or even flash  :(

So i dont expect too much of it ^_^

I have a feeling that Unity isn't the best idea; it's gonna crash and burn. IDK why but I have that feeling. I hope it doesn't because they're moving to it but,,, :mellow:  :wacko:  :unsure:  :blink:

I , myself, think this will be great. The only problem is the whole idea of just going to a random computer and being able to play the game. Using a software that isn't automatically on computers will take this feature away. Other than that, I'm excited for the update.

I really don't agree with you changing to unity. Clearly you aren't seeing the big picture. Changing to Unity may bring you guys more tools or other helpful things, but there is a huge downfall. That downfall is that Tanki will lose a huge data base of players because (I'm not sure of this) some computer may not support Unity and there are the players that refuse to get yet another Thing like flash player and unity because they are already constantly updating Flash Player. Now do you really think most players will get Unity, well the answer is maybe because the players that don't have Unity and have spent money on the game will probably get Unity but then you have the players that are new but yet already in the warrant officer stage like me, who don't have much to look forward to yet because you don't come out with new guns and features enough. I am already starting to veer away from the game and if you switch to Unity I will stop playing. Also, you have those people who just saw the game on the internet and they think it seems like a cool game (which it is) and they go to play it and then it say you need to have Unity to play this game and then they say, "Oh whatever" and leave the site and then never think twice. So in that way you are losing potential players which in return means no new players to buy crystals I hope that you take my advice AND NOT SWITCH TO UNITY. Thanks for your time.

When you haven't installed Unity it shows up the same like when loading flash without flash installed. It gives a install link.

Hopefully I don't have to update my old Unity, but still would, so then I can paly Tanki.  :D

*People don't complain, the Devs think it's better for us and them for the future and with Unity we can probably have less Lags and Glitches!! Also with Unity we can have more fun!

Unity actually takes less time to download and install than flash...

I don't get why people are worried about Unity minus the fact of people whose computers do not support Unity which I only know that chromebooks can't

I find the peformance is good enough why change?

 

I (and several other players) dont like downloading things like unity. :(

 

 

I like the charm of the flash graphics of tanki!
