Seeing how they have already used the money and resources to switch to Unity, unless there is a massive problem along the way Unity is the future of Tanki Online.

Bro don't worry graphics of unity engine looks awsome.

The graphics you have seen in video is under development and textures are removed but when their coding completes graphics will looks better than previous.

In my house we use Chromebooks to play Tanki. The last time I checked Unity is not supported on Chromebooks. I this change will result in my household no longer playing Tanki.

I believe browsers such as Firefox will begin to support Unity as a plugin, you should be able to run Tanki with no problems.

I have yet to find an article that states Unity is or ever will be supported on the Chrome OS. So those currently using a Chromebook to play Tanki will be SOL, which is totally unfortunate.

Here is a good news and a bad news for chromebook users.

The good news is that u can play unity based games on ur chromebook .

But the bad news is that u can only play those unity games which are made exclusively for chrome os.

Flash does not have the capabilities that Tanki Online is looking for and therefore it is essential for them to move to unity (especially if they wish for mobile play to become possible), unity is easy to download so you should have not problems if you have not got it at the moment. Lastly it is impractical to have 2 versions of the game running at the same time, as this would just distract the developers from actually improving the game.
