Invisible tanks!

I keep on noticing in many games invisible tanks! The player is totally invisible (not lag). I have been killed many times by these tanks and can never see them. I just finished playing a game of Silence and was constantly getting killed from player 'maximd'. At first I thought i was getting mined, or that it was a sniper shot - but no, the same player killing my whole team all the time. Yet, I had not seen him once!!! The flag kept getting taken but with no tank in sight. I sat in the corner right next to the flag and watched it disappear many times without trace of the player 'maximd' (even tho he had taken the flag). Its not the first time I have seen this, and its not the same player either. No way is this a glitch or a bug - its a hax.

 

Anyone else noticed this with other players? It just makes the game pointless.

It is a glitch. I have been invisible before. I suppose that someone could hack to become invisible, but this is a very old and well-known glitch. I have no idea why they can't fix it.

if it is a glitch then fair enough. however i have started to notice this more ofter in the last couple of weeks. Is the problem getting worse? Also It seems to be a more prevalent problem on certain maps.

perhaps silence takes up more bytes to load and hasto take out some tankis visablilty to load the map?

The visibility problem is probabaly in your GPU, not rendering the tank because of some setup or something.

Yeah i kept geting killed by a invisable tank that had freeze. I think it has something to do with the gun freeze. Because every time i get killed by an invisable person he/she has freeze.

This has happened to me before on Hill. Also, just saying, shouldn't this properly be posted on the complaints page, or a variation of such? (you should know this MM)

However, this is a real problem, and defiantly was/is a bug, but it could just as well be a hack with out a doubt.

its the loading time on certain maps and i havent seen any cheats lately i guess the updates worked. but the lags still bossing :S

I know, it is a tanki error and only happens when the user is going through a fatal error. U can see only some team mates and enemies and the rest are invisible. It fixes after 4-5 minutes. A small error screen is pops up and at that time you refresh the game works alright. Hope it helps :)
