Rio: not the highest building?

So, in the video posted the other day, I think the Russian dev (Is the guy in the video Semyon?) said that Rio had the highest building in Tanki Online.

 

After a bit of research, I don't think this could be the case. Esplanade is another map with a flat bottom ground level. The highest pinnacle in Esplanade is significantly higher above the base of the map than the top of the skyscraper in Rio. I suspect Abyss has a much higher building as well, although in Abyss it is kind of hard to define the "bottom" of the map.  Anyone with a timer, or even the little bar above isida, and basic trig knowledge can prove this. Am i missing something?

I think they meant it in an other way, it's the biggest difference in height compared to the platform it stands on.

Ok, say we are going from top of the map to the next platform down. I thought we were going from base of map to top of tower, but whatever.

 

The top of Rio to the platform below it(One of the rings around the skyscraper would be the next lowest platform) is still less distance the Esplanade pinnacle to the platform it is on. Not that it matters though, I just think it is strange that they would get it wrong.

The Esplandade tower is built on a larger building, its not a skyscraper. Thats where I think the diffrence lies.

Esplandade doesn't even looks like a building. More like a huge wall or a broken castle.

Exactly. The buildings mentioned are part of the boundary of the map, while the skyscraper is right in the middle and has no supports, unlike the others.

if your going on height then try madness but you could not parcore it from the ground up unless you had like 50 rails and 10 shafts im throwing down the gauntlet

In esplanade it is kind of a "Tower" but not a building,in Rio the skyscraper is a Building and not a "Tower"...

You are right crash had the highest building but it was removed with gallery they where made to test out the new plat forums and gallery had the longest tunnel. This topic should be closed

Esplanades ground floor is a bit bumpy so if it was flat it would be the tallest

About that, the maps Crash and Gallery can be found in TanksTestingTool.

The highest altitude you can go (in the whole of Tanki Online) to would be on Madness. The highest building standing on ground would be Rio's building. The highest building that is technically hollow and you can go inside of is Esplanade's building.

That's a part of true. Esplanade is building, but what you count on it isn't a part of building. It's another building.
