Negative Crystals - Bad Experience

A couple of days ago, I had a little less than 20K crystals on an alternate account and wanted to buy the M1 turret pack.

 

Between the 2 for 1 and the 25% off I figured 240K crystals for $32 was a good deal and purchased.

 

I bought the turret kit and started an upgrade for the Thunder.

 

When I went to do the next micro upgrade there was a crystal adjustment and suddenly I was around -63K. Yes... negative crystals as the 240K had been reversed but I had already spent 85K on the kit plus an update.

 

It was weird being in crystal debt so to speak. Any crystals I won merely reduced the debt.

 

I contacted Tanki and they said the credit card company had declined the purchase.

 

Today, I called my credit card company and they informed me that in fact it had been authorized. When I logged into that account I discovered I had just under 20K in crystals instead of somewhere between 180 and 190K which I should have had once the 240K got added back as the debt was somewhere in the 50K range last time . They told me the problem had been resolved and they had reset the old amount. I'm thinking that if that's the case it was a really bad purchase and definitely not the deal I should have got for that sale. Still waiting for more follow-up from them.

 

Has anyone else experienced this?

Even worse... just noticed that I lost the hull kit and also any winnings since then as well as crystals for my rank up. :(

So now my account is back to where it was before the purchase, except I have now ranked up on that account to Sargent-Major.

 

Unless resolved, I have lost the money spent to purchase 240K crystals along with crystals for ranking up and all the crystals from the games in between and one game alone I earned over 1800 crystals.

 

I love the game, but I don't like what happened to my account one bit.

Oosh that's a hard one, I had a similar issue when I used to do mobile payments (facepalm). I didn't get much help and eventually gave up.

 

I hope you get your cry/money back soon.

 

I use paysafecard now and haven't had a single issue.

Hello. As they said above, next time, contact to your credit card company before buying or use better payment methods like PayPal, PaySafeCard, Paypoints or Pre-Paid cards.

yes, but he still needs to contact support again and provide the proof of purchase from the credit card company, and that sympathy may be great and all but it wont help the situation, only emailing help@tankionline.com will he be able to resolve the problem :)

All was resolved. When I contacted the credit card company, they said they had authorized it, but in fact hadn't.
