How to kill in one shot a Wasp M3 with a Railgun M3 in a No Upgrade Battle?

We can see that the maximum damage of Railgun is 167 and the HP of Wasp is around 149. The damage of Railgun exceed the HP of Wasp but, why we can't kill Wasp in 1 shoot? There's the explication:

To get the maximum damage of Railgun and kill the Wasp in 1 shoot we need to shoot its middle. We can say that's the weakness of Wasp. There's a video explication:

I have observed the same thing with a rail m2 shooting a hornet m1..when i shoot at the middle of the hornet it dies in 1 shot..but if i dont shoot it on its center it takes 2 shots

I don't think this is right. Railgun does random damage.

This isn't true. Rail M3's damage is 112-167. It doesn't mean where you'll shoot, sometimes it will do minimum damage, sometimes maximum, sometimes somewhere between min and max. Most of the time it does average damage.
