Tank Viewer on mac?

 Share

Recommended Posts

Tank Viewer is a flash-based tank testing tool which allows you to test turrets and hulls and create custom paints and test them in it.

Many designers use this software to take snapshots of the tanks in different angles and to use them in their designs, while testers use this software to test hulls, turrets and test to custom paints.

There had been many versions of this tool and the latest version was released on 1.04.2014.

There is no difference on using it on Mac or Windows. One's you have the files ready, you are good to go!

Steps :

1. Visit the Tank-Viewer download site.

2. Press the mbToHPD.png button.

3. After the download ended, extract the zip file to any place you wish.

4. Click on the 'TankViewer.swf' file once and drag it to your web browser. (Using Chrome would be a better option)

A guide on using Tank Viewer can be found here.

Next time, make sure you ask questions and seek for answers here.

Um excuse me, but you can not use it on Mac, if you download it's windows file, which does NOT work on Mac, I'm just wondering if there may be a possible way to do it, I know everything you posted above, it's just it does not work in Mac :)

The file I've mentioned is common to both Mac and Windows since it is a Flash object. Make sure you did extract them.

It is very possible to put it on Mac. I've had tank viewer on my Mac for a while. Just extract the files and run the swf file in a flash player or in an Internet browser. :)

Yes just as I said, there is no difference between using Tank-Viewer on both systems.

So @Theawesomecooldude gave proof since he is a Mac user.

Just find the main Zip file and re-extract it. Once you extract the zip, the original zip stays as it is, if you didn't delete it.

Not sure, mine can‘t work even on windows.

The problem? ^

If all it shows is a gray screen, it may still be loading. Wait for it to load completely. Alternatively, you can run it in any browser too.
