The new graphics look awesome but I think everyone will miss the tanki online graphics we have now.

Agreed. They look amazing, but I think a new generation of tankers will get together and talk about Goldboxes before the new new graphics.

I play World of Tanks by Wargaming.net almost constantly. I don't know if any of you have heard of it... but it is a great game: realistic tanks, way better game modes, limited ammunition, no unrealistic powerups, etc.. And I would say maybe every 4/5 rounds i play, people say something to the effect of, "I am sooo glad this game is not cartoon-ish and that the developers have a great endeavor to make it even more realistic!".

I personally have to say i'm dissapointed with the up-coming update for Tanki. This is not to say that no one in a more cartoon-ish game, so, i say go for it.

Good luck fellow tankers!

World of Tanks is a cool game, and has its graphics, game modes, etc. Much also say Tanki Online is World of Tanks' little brother :P

But however, a big problem about WoT is that it takes a bunch of space (about 10 GB and even more, you know), and it will surely cause worse lags.

That's why I don't play WoT anymore.

Very good...However, the graphics look a little dull, but I assume this is not the finished product. And with the passing of time, adjustments will be made as needed...Really looking forward to it..."Thanks guy's! Keep up the good work!" :)

I personnally think it's going to be great, but:

  • Lots of people don't want to install Unity or can't (I'm on Chrome OS, no EXE support)
  • New graphics, even at lower resolutions, will require much more RAM than the high resolution of actual Tanki due to Unity, which uses lots of your precious RAM.
  • More realistic = Less good??????? Ummm...... Go play World of Tanks, then tell me.
  • Game will still be completely buyer-oriented.
  • Not much improvement in terms of gameplay (+lags, bugs, glitch exploits, everything to make it worse than actually; Unity is complex)

Because of all this, I think you should dedicate 3/4 of your actual servers to the new Tanki and the remaining 1/4 to the actual one. Would be really appreciated.

Overall, not an awesome idea.

Play on Xbox360 then. Pretty much the same but easier, more simple, less strategy but without any lags.
