If you want to play on the chinese server, you really have to own a chinese phone number. Also you have to enter your situated Place, so they can check it with your phone number.

Chinese state want to achieve that no foreigners join chinese net area.

In fact, I already have an account there. :p

 

And , you don't have to apologize for your Chinese, it's as accurate as mine! (I'm not from China)

 

However, I would highly suggest you NOT to play there, the reasons being:

 

1. The Chinese TO has no intention of serving foreigners. (Who knows what they'll do to you once they find out that you're a foreigner?)

 

2. The internet connection is soo bad, I DC once every 5 minutes. (Playing on the EN main server is so much better)

 

3. Local Chinese players may be hostile towards foreigners. (I once wrote in English in the server chat, and got criticized with Chinese foul languages.)

 

While you can peacefully enjoy English TO with all your friends, why go to the Chinese TO with slower updates and hostile players?

I can't explain it accurately in Chinese :p

 

Basically, the Chinese government (the Communist party) monitors the internet usage of it's people.

To make their tasks easier, it would be better to remove anonymity on the internet, that way it would be easier to trace people who violated the Chinese internet law.

And the best way to do so, is to request for their IC number/Phone number.

 

Don't be surprised, all South Korean games require phone verification as well.

Same. I was born in New Zealand and i live in Australia now.  If my outer relatives weren't there, i'd never even consider going there. They say the pollution is so bad that staying there for 2 months during a dust bowl is the same as smoking for 20 years.

I'm just wondering why you wrote cantonese and wanted to know how you hit on that. And what don't you understand on my sentence above? Ik that my chinese isn't good enough yet but the sentence above should really seem to be comprehensible.
