Looking for USA West Coast Players. 

 

We have a HUGE disadvantage playing Tanki. That is our high ping rate.

You can not change physics / the HUGE distance we are from the server. 

 

Tanki even discloses this fact, read all about it here;

I use the Windows standard CMD Prompt and NOT what you see

on the Tanki game window ,IE, the FPS and PING readings bottom

right of play window, if you have it turned on in Tanki settings.

I do not rely upon the FPS and PING reader in-game. PING ingame

readings seem to be about 1/3 of what CMD Prompt says, I think

I will believe my CMD Prompt first. 

 

I have an "average" ping of 172ms, no wonder I am always killed

so fast, no wonder my KD is so bad, no wonder, when I KNOW I got

a shot off first, it never hits... 

 

The only way I can see to resolve this is playing against opponents that

are the same distance from the server as me. 

 

SO it would be great to have a list of tankers who live on the USA west coast. 

If we get enough players we can decide how to implement, maybe a 

clan or two? I will have to figure out a way to verify where you are, 

should not be too hard. maybe https://www.iplocation.net/ and

phone numbers or maybe send me a text pic of your CMD window.

 

Till then RSVP and we will see if this list grows. Otherwise you can find me

getting blasted to smitherines at 37.48.68.15 (type that into address bar to go to Tanki) 

 

IN CMD Prompt type    ping 37.48.68.15    to see YOUR ping rate,

at least "I think" that is Tanki Server address. 

 

If I am technically wrong anywhere here please rsvp w/ fact.

As far as I know, there are servers in Mexico, Brazil, China, Europe and Russia (The Mexican server might actually work better for Americans in terms of distance)
