it's just too cold to even take into consideration.

I love cold weather. It's a shame we don't get that much of it in California. Or maybe it isn't a shame. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to grow as many types of fruits and vegetables that we can now.

(penguin)^it's a shame there are earthquakes in Calif.

I was in one once, when I was younger. Terrifying; I was almost delighted to move to MN.

Yeah, I live right on the fault, and in my 12 years living here, I've been in about 5 minor earthquakes. I mean really minor. For most of them, Everyone thought someone was just shaking the table or my brother and I were running too fast...... Plus those couple that happened when I was sleeping....... But we're overdue for the big one.......

And being outrageously funny in the process......

i wouldn't even say its being remotely humorous

By "every Olympics Game", are you referring to only basketball and swimming? Those are the two that receive the most media attention after all.  Plus, I'm fairly certain we all know which country wins the track-field, cross country running, etc. competitions every four years.

Look at the all time medal count, look who's on top, look at the margin between 1st and 2nd, then get back to me and say the us doesn't dominate the Olympics.

The Winter Olympic Games are negligible... it's just too cold to even take into consideration. And yes, I did disregard the rest of your comment.  ;)

you cant discount the winter Olympics just because you cant handle the cold

If we could keep the negativity to a minimum in this thread, that would be great.
