Depends on... The Dictator can be a camper too you know? But snipers really prefer hornets or lighter hulls to kill because they require less power of the shaft...

Also,what if the scope of the shaft first sees a hornet and then a mile away a dictator? :D

Well, obviously snipers will go for the lighter kills :P. But, for example, against a hunter or viking, the dictator is the first one to go. Just because it's the easiest.

^ Congrats on ranking Kata. As for the whole dictator thing, I see where you're coming from. Since you were just a WO1 when you wrote this, you would've had no experience with any dictator except M0.  And M0 Dictator absolutely sucks. I tried giving it a fair trail a few weeks ago, but no, just wouldn't happen. But 2 ranks up (at my rank) you start seeing successful Dictator M1s doing pretty much anything (except flag-capping) and doing it well. So, really, IMO, your thoughts on Dictator are fair, just uninformed in a way.

But I did do more resarch, and yeah, the dictator is pretty great. But at M0 and even possibly M1 it does still lack. But by m2, it's awesome.

Probably support. As said, the shaft is a tricky gun, because it can't defend to well or offend to well when in a team setting. Usually a shaft is just sniping and assisting teammates. For you, (assuming you are a hornet and shaft) I suggest finding a good sniping spot, where

 

1. You can shoot and hide.

2. See your flag, and the other base.

3. See most of the field.

 

After you find a good spot, scan the field. Where do your teammates need help? Are they going to go take the flag? Is there a Mammoth sitting on the flag? Snipe the Mammoth. It's important, however, not to snipe the "wasp" or "hornet" just because they are easy kills. Look for who needs to be destroyed.

Camping is a popular tactic used by Shafts, but since he has a fast tank (assuming of course), he could travel from spot to spot hiding behind cover, being unpredictable yet deadly.

It was a great article but i disagree with the part about shaft. Personally I think it's a great defensive gun.
