Cool.

Space?

(I actually already know the answer: space is clearly cool)

Cool. How cool do you ask? How about - 445 degrees Fahrenheit, because that's the cosmic background temperature.

Did I just learn something new and have fun doing it, whaaaaaatttt?

Table Tennis.

You mean ping pong? Cool!

No, I mean Table Tennis.  -_- Ping Pong is pretty boring compared to Table Tennis, I think. I have never watched it, but I just searched it up, and from reading what it is, I see you will not be able to get much spin on the ball, or get high speeds. (More boring and less tactical)

Uncool.

Ping pong is table tennis.

Ping Pong is a parlor game.  Table Tennis is a sport, played at all levels, including amateur play with USTTA and ITTF, Olympic Games and at the Professional level.

Very Different Rules and Structure

The rules in Ping Pong and Table Tennis are vastly different.  Table Tennis is now an 11 point game, with the winner needing a two point margin.  I don't know if Ping Pong is still a 21 point game or if it's changed to 11 points also.

In Ping Pong, if one reached a certain score with the opponent having no points, it was declared a shut out (a skunk game), and it was game over.  Table Tennis has no such rule.  In Table Tennis, each player gets two serves in a row, then the serve moves to the opponent.  In Table Tennis, the serve has all kinds of restrictions.  The server must hold the ball in an open palm, behind the table's back line, not extending beyond the right or left of the side lines.  The ball must be slowly tossed in the air from the open palm, and struck on its way down while still visible to the opponent, no lower than table height.  The ball must be visible to the opponent at all times.  In Table Tennis, no one may wear either a shirt or pants/skirt the same color as the ball (white or orange), so the ball can be seen at all times.  One side of the paddle must be red, the other white.  The sponge on the paddle must be no thicker than a prescribed amount, the rubber also has thickness limitations.  Even the type of glue used to secure the sponge must be of a certain quality.  Speed glue is no longer allowed, if flammable.

In Table Tennis neither player may touch the table during play.  In Table Tennis, the ball must bounce one one's side of the table before being struck, some Ping Pong rules allow for what's an equivalent to a Tennis "volley."  In Table Tennis, each player may only use a towel at prescribed points in the game, but no more.  The list of rules goes on and on and on.  In Table Tennis there's a ranking system monitored by the USTTA and the ITTF.  Points are earned based on tournament play.  Table Tennis is a very different game from Ping Pong.

Assuming you have not died from boredom, I think it is uncool.
