Balancing of turrets and hulls

I was decent with the thunder and now it's RUINED. WHO CARES ABOUT RANGE?? IT'S NOT A SHAFT!!!

I CONSIDER NOT PLAYING UNTIL YOU FIX THIS. btw firebird and ricochet are too overpowered now.

For the sake of Tanki Please hold a series of polls to get more accurate results BEFORE you make any more changes.

One other thing to consider is that for high rank players with M3's the impact of the swapping of hull perimeters is very costly. M3's are not cheap. If you look at the ranks as well as the complaints you start to see a pattern. A lot of M3 level ranked players built their garage around hornet and viking. From their point of view it is unfair to have someone take away the only m3 stuff they had.  Viking and Dictator basically switched places. I know several players with M3 viking and only M1 dictator Do you see why they are so upset? Especially after the 50% off Viking sale. No matter what you say many people feel you pulled a classic bate and switch scam. You offer everyone Viking but turn around and give them Dictator with the Viking name. I'm not accusing you anymore. You may not have even thought about this from that point of view. This is not whining and complaining, these are just facts. PLEASE don't make the same mistakes again. Ask the people what they want before you make the change, not after.

isidas dont reload fast so they dont heal others

freeze is ok

rail is highly overpowered

twins are very annoying (impact force was always the problem and you made it higher)

they had a section where you can discuss the new turrets while testing them in test.But all you did there was to argue about refund

Rail hasn't changed at all. Actually with the rebalance rail has more chance to kill with 1-shot a hornet because hornet's damage has been decreased. <_< Also, if rails could 1-shot hornets then it would be unbalanced and not fun at all.

No, you are talking as if everyone in tanki are having the same issue as you, that's my problem. You are manipulating your choice of words to make it look like all of tanki are against the change the devs made.

 

That's my problem, if you don't want an argument don't do it.

I would just like to highlight your final few points, this is exactly what I am getting at. I have no issue if some dislikes the update and posts it, however when some say that everyone doesn't like it, or state things like "we" instead of "i". I feel it is necessary for me to correct because some such as myself are not under the bracket the commenter specifies.

 

I also comment when someone will stay an abstract statement, accusation or fact that has no evidence to back it up. Having an opinion is fine, it's just the way it's brought across by some that makes me respond.

I don't see in either of my posts, where I try to speak for anyone I have not already talked to. Never used "we" anywhere. I only speak for people I know or people that have already posted the same sort of comments. Yvano is right you are certainly not helping at all. So from this point forward I will just ignore what ever it is you feel you need to say, because I couldn't care less about what you have to say anymore. You haven't said anything useful for a while,in this topic or the last.

Try not to be condescending with words like "conspiracy" and "little speech", it's most unhelpful.  Please keep this topic polite.

 

It is true that many do not like the changes. I for one believe that tanki have behaved unethically. I have spent the better part of a year and a neat chunk of my disposable income on this game, improving my garage focusing on micro upgraded m3's - hornet, viking and isida. I don't attend the forum as often as I should so forgive me if I missed the posts or polls where they gave us all notice of these changes. As you said in your reply to me, we were all given notice. Please tell me where and when this was because I didn't get the email or notification or pm for the invite to test them out. The first I learned of these changes was in a video on facebook a few days before the update. So it should come as no surprise to you or the developers that many are upset and angry and that they feel conned or even duped. If you can't understand this then you're hardly being impartial and true to yourself.

 

I think Canadian got it spot on with his observations. The popular hulls and turrets have been weakened and the unpopular ones, you know, the ones we don't normally see with any great frequency in battle, have been made more powerful. This means that one now has to, "adapt" as some advocates of this change have been saying. I can either start trying to buy new equipment in order to gain a competitive advantage or I can learn to be more defensive, trying to stay alive long enough to inflict a modicum amount of damage to an enemy. 

 

So am I just expected to say, "oh well", or do you think I have a right to feel upset? Don't start quoting the EULA at me because that won't wash. Sure they can do what they want but I'm also just as sure that they prefer to the ethical and fair thing here, especially when it comes to paying customers.

 

My hornet has certainly been made weaker and I now can't compete using it against a myriad of mammoth twins & ricos. Tanki could have worked out this percentage of loss and then compensated me accordingly. eg, 20% weaker, therefore I get 20% of my crystals back and even then it wouldn't be fair but at least I could see that they are meeting me half way.

 

And lastly, what affiliation do you have with the developers. Are you staff or something because I don't understand your willingness to spend every hour attacking any complaint or criticisms people are voicing.
