Losing Connection

Have been constantly losing connection over the past few days, and getting 'Connection closed by server'. On top of that, I was just playing on the winning team of a Berlin CTF, with a rapidly increasing fund of 8000 crystals, when I suddenly got the 'Fatal error'. I managed to rejoin, however got this 'fatal error' again several more times, until when I tried to rejoin I ended up back on the battle menu. So that was 1 hour of playing wasted, and probably a few thousand crystals lost  -_-.  I know I could contact Tanki Online and request the crystals I lost, however I didn't take screenshots of the battle (who has time to take screenshots of every battle in case they lose connection?!).

 

Note: I've checked and my internet speeds are fine. I've also tried clearing my flash cache, re-installing flash, etc, etc, etc

About fatal error, developers are trying to solve this problem. If you want to help them to solve the problem, read this topic, answer the questions and post them there.

Firstly, I know that it's not somebody logging into my account because I've already changed my password and it still happens.

Also, I've already tried many of the steps in them topics and they have not helped in any way.

1.8 MBPS - slow, but has always let me play problem free, until now.

As I mentioned in the original post, I haven't got screenshots of the battle so I can't get my crystals back :/

I always used to be able to play fine at all times of the day... and so you think it's suddenly my internet connection?

I'm 90% sure it's a server-side problem.

To stop this I just copy the link from the URL bat and close the browser, then I open up the browser again and paste the link.

i'm also getting 'Connection closed by server' plus server under maintenance - got 15+Mbps internet -  tried Chrome,Firefox, standalone flash, clearing all sorts of stuff - had probs 10 days now - nothing seems to work - tried different servers - you name it, i've tried it.

OK Tanki guys, let's face it - you have an issue on your side. So many players have complained within the last month (me included) that they were able to play the game in the browser of their choice and at their usual connection speed. It is not a client issue (or at least one that you cannot trace at all), so it is a server issue which you need to fix. None of your suggestions work for so many affected players so please stop promoting them. I am getting tired of logging into the game (which takes an age now) only to find it is unplayable due to extreme lag (high ping). I am getting to the point where I am seriously thinking of abandoning the game altogether - luckily I have not invested any cash in it. I suspect many others already have or will very shortly. Get your fingers out and fix it....

I agree. I politely tried many of your suggestions to no avail, and so I'm pretty sure it's a problem on your end.

At the very least, perhaps a staff member/developer could confirm that it's an issue on their end? It appears that many other players are having this issue, so it's almost certainly not a problem with our computers/connections.

I am receiving exactly the same problem and it happens to any of the accounts I log into.

 

What happens to me is that it takes forever to load and then the "Connection Closed By Server" message comes up.

My internet connection is fine as all other sites load and work fine.

The error occurs due to many issues:

1) When other player logs into your account.

2) Due to tanki server restart.

3) Server problem.

Make sure your password is tough enough to guess, so you are sure that its a server problem bcoz no one can guess your pass.

1) I've already tried changing my password and it didn't help.

2) It happens whenever I play, so it's not to do with the server restarts

3) I believe it's some sort of server problem, but I'm waiting for someone to confirm this.
