Tanki should add a forum cookie, in the settings, we can choose the css settings (old/new). This will then load your preference and then save that preference.

I don't have any problem of the forum being slower like @sam131192 mentioned, and I think it's cool and good. In my opinion it's great and not "too black" as was said.

All are writing that it looks better etc, but what about the function? Lines are smaller now, and when I make a screenshot now (on the bottom of the page I only see: http://img.tankionline.com/i/52387e3d.jpg 2 grey bars beside it. I prefer to have a wider forum in that case.

The boards take up less of the screen to make way for the boarder. I find the boarder very distracting and the forum harder to read.

 

Think I prefer the old forum just for ease of reading.

 

But aesthetically it looks nice.

Though it seems that quite a few prefer the old forum, and that there are probably a few things which could be tweaked with this one, I actually prefer the new version by far. I just think that it's a step in the right direction; you know, integrating the forum and making it look more modern and all. Yes, there could be changes to improve ease of readability, and it is now harder to see which topics have new posts - but I still think it's a positive change overall.
