No damage glitch

In this topic a hacker gets banned for apparently using a cheat which gives him very large/infinite health or disables damage from players. This sounds very similar to an episode I had on the Kungur map a while ago. The gameplay was fine, the FPS and amount of lag was quite low and definitely not out of the ordinary. I was playing normally for about 30 minutes, but then suddenly I realized that I don't do any damage to players and the players don't do damage to me. This wasn't the usual scenario when connection is lost because in that case tanks start spinning and you get the "connection with server lost" message quite quickly. In my case I saw everyone else move around, shot etc. and they saw what I was doing, but the damage was disabled for me (while others could still shoot and kill each other). I was driving around like this for about 5 minutes, then tried reloading the page and everything fixed itself.

 

I know that my message is off-topic, but I want to inform officials that this bug exists (although only happened to me this once) and my question is what would I do if someone would record a video and get me banned for cheats, despite the fact that I wasn't using any?
