Another thing about the Comic Captions is 'originality', and splitterpoint used the same topic as my entry. I was first ok ;)

Your entry doesn't have quality :). That many upvotes is just the reason :)

Congrats to the winners (very funny and creative stuff). And Congrats to everyone who participated. It was a lot of fun for me, just to put something together, and hopefully bring on a smile or two. I didn't expect to win, and I didn't. :lol: So that is an improvement.

 

P.S. As for those who think there has been some sort of favoritism going on here, or that the Judging is swayed because of the number of up-votes some contestants may have. You might want to consider the fact that to have a staff position is a big responsibility. I really don't think that up votes were taken into consideration, because people might vote with alternate accounts. The judges know this as well. They also know that the Tanki administration keeps records on their performance, and they would not want to place any future prospects in jeopardy. Then there is the fact that they, as well as anyone for that matter, has to live with their actions the rest of their lives. Like the old saying goes. "What goes around comes around." 

 

One day they might be walking along minding their own business and "Wam!" Pearly Gates... :rolleyes: <- Thats my "I'm a good boy face". :lol:  

 

Once again. Congrats to all the winners, and those who participated. To me? It was a lot of fun. :)

Despite the title of the forum group I'm in, I'm not a moderator as such - it says *newspaper* moderator i.e. I'm a Reporter. The only place where I have any moderation powers is the Press section; and even then, us Reporters only use those powers for our articles, not to moderate. Anyway, hat's what Raph was referring to.

Half of the winners are staff or ex-staff. Why do they get chosen always? They are rich enough.

What about normal players like us? At least make that all other entries will get a small prize for entering. 

More then half of the entries are not funny and especially badly edited.

I am greatly disappointed in the results. Clearly someone did a bad job choosing. Not good Semyon, not good  :mellow:

Whether you take heed of this useful advice, or whether you continue to attack the integrity of other entrants, is another matter. I haven't received a PM, so I assume you don't have any constructive complaints/queries about the contest. Good job on taking part, though, and hopefully you've gained something out of it!

All entries are well edited. They are clear and it is easy to read the captions, and the images are not pixelized or anything.

You need to control your behavior, even in the internet. You're just showing to the entire TO community that you are a bratty 12 year old, who is scared of loosing, hiding behind a laptop/computer, blaming everyone for your loss.

Entries weren't judged based on the number of crystals the entrants had - I'm sure you can see why that would have been completely unfair. It is simple - they get chosen if they manage to make a great entry, whether or not they are staff/ex-staff ^_^
