  1. 1. Do you think this vehicle would be effective if it were to be used in combat?

I am bringing this up because it looks like a vehicle from this game, and it has 'impressive' technology

Poland is part of NATO, and the PL-01 is developed in conjunction with BAE Systems, it could have some modern  western-style composite armor, or none at all if they are so confident in this "cloaking system."

If it was used in combat it would be easier to spot if we didn't use advanced spotting systems, like Thermal imaging.

I like how you made this thread like, 100 times, and now it is finally open! lol

But looking at the tank, it does resemble one. I wish Tanki would consider adding one like this, where it is very weak, medium speed and agility, but it has a "cloaking" device where it is harder to see, and from far away, it's near impossible. It would make the game more interesting. (Note that from  close range the tank would be clearly visible)

This wasn't meant to be a suggestion, but a demonstration of technology, you could suggest that if you want, I'd think it would be nice to have so we can have a bigger variety in hulls.

This thing would be VERY weak. Considering it's armor plates are nothing but a cloaking program, it could be taken down with 1-2 shots very easily. Though it looks great for disguise mission and especially spy mission.

2-3 RPG shots would be the end of this thing.

Looks cool though.

It will survive more than 1 shot because it has ERA under the surface, it could survive more provided that the shell not hit the same spot.

RPGs aren't that strong anymore against tanks, This tank for sure has ERA under the outer layer, and the molten copper will be stopped by the layer of composite armor, which it most likely has.

there is an account of an M1A1 (M1A2?) Abrams that was hit 14(?) times with a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG), and none died from the impact or explosions from what I recall, most tanks now days have a coating on the inside of the armor to stop spalling (Pieces/components placed in the armor flying out e.g. rivets, from the blast on the outside).

But considering they called this an SP gun at first, and now a light tank, it may not have any armor at all, just a tiny bit of ERA under the coating, it also moves quite fast, and  can't weigh that much, all we know about the engine is that it has 950+ BHP.

and also it can go through to the mines,IED etc,his only weakness is the rail tires maybe anti tank with AP bullets can knock out the rail

besides M1 abraham is heavy tank

while this tank is maybe medium tank

He said it was classified as an SP gun, then a Light combat vehicle.

All of the modern tanks in the world (except for AMX-13, Scorpions and some other light tanks) follow NATO's doctrine of using the phrase 'Main Battle Tank (MBT)', PL-01 included. Therefore, there are no more heavy tanks, medium tanks, light tanks and tank destroyers.  ^_^

if im correct ._.

Man, 2-3 RPG shots can blow up an T-86

And may i remind u T-86 is very heavily armoured than the above tank.
