the problem is not with the cone, but this random jump from one spot to another on a tank ! its hysterical ! beside it doesn't go vertical like before so i realized now that i can destroy isidas by going to different heights, it sounds like isida is having a frozen neck

Its beam looks so primitive and doesn't go with the new tanki style

Yes - hard to AIM tank.

3 tanks near - once u repair, once u atak one, once u atak other.

How can you say isida is not worth it? I've devoured my enemies's tanks, and kept my whole team healthy.

VS druggers, I simply show my drugs as well, and they can't counter how much of their HP i drain off.

i think i have changed my mind, its range is more than freeze and firebird now, you can keep a distance while attacking them.. and when drugging they can't destroy you if you keep a distance ..

Nope, I don 't play in Noise.

Don 't like that Map at all: but I get your point, with all the upward- and downward fighting

going on here, the new Isida will not work as well as before.

Also keeping a distance from your opponent is hard here, I guess another reason why the

new Isida suffers in a Map like Noise.

ISIDA suffer wherever there is a height difference, however slight. the cone of action is so small that you have to be necessarily flat and the front, almost, the enemy. I said just because of Noise is a map vertically 3 story with climbs and then the ISIDA not hook ever

Thus you will need to increase the turret turning speed, i think it just needs time to start getting use to it .. and the vertical range have to increase a little..

This is what happened today. . .

1) Oh hahaha look at that stupid Isida/Viking running towards me.

2) -Fires Thunder shots at him-

3) He's like 10-15 metres away or something.

4) O hahaahahaha 1 more shot and you're dead. ahhaha stupid Isida. Can't even reach me.

5) He pressed Spacebar and regained health.

6) Me: Mind-blown

It probably depends on the player if the Isida is nerfed or buffed.

Because of the small cone you now really have to aim with the Isida.

It 's totally different in that aspect from the Freeze and Firebird where

aiming isn 't that important: just shoot somewhere at the direction

of your opponent and they do their job.

The rebalanced Isida instead has to be handled like you 're

firing a Smoky or Thunder.

Otherwise it will be "jumpy" indeed and non-effective.

If you handle it well you are rewarded with a "long-range" short-range turret,

with increased damage and a larger reservoir!

Personally (combo Wasp-Isida) I like it a lot.

The nerf is found in the smaller cone (reduced firing angle) and if this stays

like it is (most likely) you have no other choice than adapting your gameplay,

or choose another (short-range) turret.

Lord ..... my dear Lord...

Please.... Just try to play some different maps with an isida before talking about isida handlings...... And finally you'll realize how vain it is to have such a unuseful turret. (i am - was - an exclusive isida user since i play tanki)

I explain you :

1 - VS a enemy smoky (or thunder, or ricochet) : when there's a simple hit on my isida, I lose aim and therefore I lose time attacking him and therefore I lose battle (no, i'm not a noob in attacking...). It is obvious : 99% of my battles were won with 5-10% energy left (it was before this latest update)... Now it isn't possible anymore (or we must have luck, much luck...).

2 - When I heal mates, the very little change of height (up or down, like a little ramp) prevents me to heal him continuously, i must wait being closer to him again to heal again. The little lack of healing is sufficient to lose duel mostly of time. Moreover i waste my energy so much, and it isnt the larger energy reserve who will compensate that (far from me this idea...).

3 - Same problem as point 2 while attacking an enemy, and moreover we must notice that if an Isida lost its aiming while enemy is a bit upper or lower him, it isnt the case for the enemy who still can easily and continuously fire this isida (railgun, thunder, ricochet, and so on...... WHY other turrets are still able to fire and hit isida player as it isn't possible anymore for him ????? It was equilibrated with a cone 0f 40 degrees, I say.

So now, in my humble opinion developers did a bad job there, and no i don't think that explanation like : "oh you just will have to change your way of playing with it, and everything will be fine" is an excuse, bacause the way I used to play was comfortable, enjoyable, efficient and tactical. It suited to me. Will I have patience and envy to change an nearly exclusive  2-years isida practice ?????? Not so sure....

Fanf - disappointed there

ps : sorry for my approx english, this isnt my native language.

Playing with this turret has gone from an exercise in skill to an exercise in patience. I have used nearly nothing but isida for over a year but this update essentially nerfed it. I don't think there's a gun in the game that has a narrower attack range than isida now. Medics need a reason to play medic, and while self-heal is all well and fun, the conical range is what made isida an isida. Now it's nearly un-playable, and giving me a slightly longer range and negligibly quicker reload time to make up for the lack of conical range is almost insulting. Like taking away a dollar and giving me a Quarter and a nickel to make up for it.

Yes, Isida is still technically powerful on paper, but in practice, it's no longer enjoyable.

Yikes, I never realized how badly a 75% decrease in conical area could be so major, or how I even overlooked that...
