Can anyone share some tips on how be a awesome Isida? :P So far I have been getting 3rd to middle of the table with clean Isida M3, Viking M3 -_-

Okay, MU that Isida. If you want results with that early of an M3, MU ASAP. Second of all, MOVEMENT, MOVEMENT, MOVEMENT. You have to be untouchable yourself instead of having that ledge do it for you.

You already have a good idea on how to be a good isida, so keep doing what you're doing really. I'm pretty sure it's the MUs tbh :P

I do, its real team saver. heal wasp is like turn on TV by remote TV. Only aim XD.

And full mued damage didnt make difference :o.

Try to kill mammoth, write its time, calculate, how many damage per sec it has.

If lower. its probably ur ping is bad.

And for self healing, i seen from wiki, the unit is persentage. so if you using wasp, u will dont get really benefit for this.

Idk. From what percentage it does. It is 50% from heal? damage? or hull health?

well it probably not going do big diference at wasp.

Self healing is a percentage of damage done.

60 dps=30 damage per tick (half second)=15 hp drain each half second with 50% self heal.

No. Exactly. Remaine is right. The self-healing will NEVER go away. Period.

You're two years off. If you really need to, I can find a guy with a time machine for 30 million Family-Size bags of Fritos.

Yes. Pro tip - Leave it to gather dust in your garage unless you play on a flat map like desert. Source - Time served Isida player who constantly ranked in first place. Your sanity will thank me for it :)

I can't leave it in the dust. It's my only M3. I will probably get something else in the next 50% sale. Also I have turned over the battle tide a few times.

One of the annoying aspects of an isida is to be able to lock on a target continuously to finish it off while being bombarded by Thunder or Rail. Sometimes a skilled enemy knows to throw off the aim in some unexpected way like Smoky. I remembered someone twist and turn their turrent & hull skillfully when I got close so the isida beam gets interrupted often. (It was a Smoky/Viking M3 with Needle).

Another one is trying to balance between healing others and killing others.

I have MUed it and it seems a little better. Just need more practice and more MUs. :)

Isida is (make it WAS) my favourite turret. But recent event with unlimited drugs opened my eyes.

When everybody had free access to unlimited first aid kits Isida suddenly became useless.

While I was attacking everyone (literally everyone) waited until I burned most of ammo, then... first aid, I'm out of ammo, with dodging as only option.

While I was healing... err who needs healing when everyone has first aid kits?

My old, dust gathering Twins M1 proved ten times more succesfull.

If (as I suspect) drugging is much more prominent at higher ranks, than I have to rethink my grand strategy.

Errrrr.... Isida is somehow a very good drug weapon if you ask me. :)

^ Thought the same. It gains more from DP than any other turret. And it works very nicely in "limited drugs" environment.

But recent experience changed my mind. Believe me, I have used Isida as my main turret for some time, and "unlimited drugs" proved that its not the weapon of choice for full drug war.

I really like the self healing part of Isida. It really helps-I've gone up against m2 firebird and m2 Viking and have survived in m1 Isida and m1 wasp.

they were out of ammo or were low in health

I regret so much spending too many crystals on fully MUing my isida's parameters thinking they will get a dramatic change, its still not different than a half mued isida :/

More on "when Isidas fail" -- I know they need to refill the health of team members, and I know when they can be invaluable. But sometimes, Isidas, learn WHEN TO GET OUT OF THE WAY.

They previously irked me when I could not move, aim, turn, or back up at Monte Carlo. The only thing, apparently, that the two Isidas could find to do was refill each little glitch caused by a Smoky to my health level.

Today, at Serpuhov, the winning capture ESCAPED me when an Isida got right in my face after I was shot. I had 3/4 health, and my Hammer was about to pulverize the flag thief.

Did the isida attack him? No.

Did the isida go behind me? No.

Did the Isida cost us the battle? Yes.

I think they added that "yanking" effect, too, just to penalize the guys receiving the health. You cannot steer precisely as either a victim or a beneficiary when the "energy rope" is pulling at you. It has been also known to pull Isidas right into mines.

Some Isidas (M3+) seem much more powerful than they should be. Is there some secret parameter that is reserved to a favored few??

first sure if they focus on more damage up to 64 is enough, while self healing up to 48 is very enough, second faster reload and 9.12 is good, third and the most important for isida is to have a good frame rate , as slow or interruprted connection will lead to missing  lot of the energy spent

I was attacked by a tough Isida on Serpuhov TDM: came right up to my Shaft face-to-face daring me to try to win. I shot it once to little effect, and then *another* Isida came up and undid the damage. :( Here's where experience comes in. I powered up to full sniping mode and...aimed back and killed the 2nd isida! Then I ran like h*ll while the first isida was trying to comprehend what just happened. ;)

Speed up xp points?

No , when you heal you only get a bit and unless you drug you dont make much kills.

No man I get loads of kills with Isida, im usually 5.00 k/d-ratio. Love this turret.

self healing gives you the ability to get the very last out of your life.

Decrease range on isda

No shinola! That damn red rope is 40 meters long sometimes! I posted a video right after the update that showed the Green Beam going ALL THE WAY FROM ONE SIDE OF RIO TO THE OTHER!  https://youtu.be/cXcXvy6Czcw (Just at the very start: I was chasing a troll across several battles.)

Range is NOT an upgradable feature. It needs to be less than any projectiles!

Today, on Skyscrapers, our Isida held up two of us trying to go up a ramp, while all three of us were being shot. I should have pushed him off the building! Instead, I jumped down and climbed back up.

do not tell me your complaining could have easily avoided by an increase in skill, according to your vids...
