After microupgrade update, isida is more sweet :3

Specifically, its a new range parameter.

 

Before update, with skill, u can avoid being killed by

twin hammer freeze firebird n maybe thunder smoky by distance yourself from them.

While self healing, and killing them :3

Well as you know, these turret lose their effectiveness when shot at more long distance,

while on isida, their turret always maximum power when its beam connect.

For example, effective range twin is 15m, isida is 20+m :3 its possible.

Well, i use hunter isida, it can effectively distance from enemy due speed and slimness prevent it from kissing wall :3

and effectively survived from enemy attack due good health

also it can effectively kill popular hornet and effectively run n kill from popular viking. :3

 

After update, its more easier to do that :3

Just microupdating its range to 5 step, its already too good.

Even more I can effectively heal or attack in polygon hole and hide in arena wall,

to the point, make enemy surprised XD.

 

So what gonna happen if i full microupgrade isida range.

Its will be more than above

I looking forward for it.

 

And more comment about degree cone attack.

Now, isida is pro turret.

For beginner, its maybe hard to use.

For pro, its hard to use, but they can handle / overcome it :3

 

about range

Sure, isida is hit n miss now. About annoyance hehe.

For beginner, isida is no threat

For pro, is real demon hehe.

Yeah, the range is really something.

But isida damage is really low compared other short range weapon.

Isida 66, Firebird 72 :o, Freeze 80 :::OOO.

 

Isida is underpowered !!!

isida m1 is even worse than firebird m1

You maybe think

isida is the worse turret.

Yeah, as u considering

Damage is pretty low compared other.

But take consideration of why lot of tanker hate to deal isida :3

none of the above can heal their friends, nor heal themselves xD

Also none of them's maximum damage range is higher than twins, unless...

It might take more effort for an Isida to lock into 'ya, but when it does, it just won't let go!

Yes, and this concept of "20-25 meters range" (M3) makes them OP, especially reaching "down" or through objects, which projectiles cannot do.

They are "kill on sight" as far as I'm concerned, and if you get three or more, it is no longer a tank battle of any kind.

I say reduce the offensive power of isida in half, give any hull with it one-half its normal health, and make its range 5 meters (one tank length).

do not tell me your complaining could have easily avoided by an increase in skill, according to your vids...

That was me trying to video the Isida. :P I kept trying to replicate the green rope going all the way across the map at the start.

The red ropes were not as visible in this particular video. It has been fixed substantially but you know

that should have appeared in testing.

So then you can kill an enemy with half a shot? No, sirree. They have just tried to "sell" players on Isida for some reason.

Uh, you're looking at damage, not range.

Twins at M2 is 70 meters, and with 2 MUs has the same kill power (~12-15) at max range,

Isida has 44, so has an advantage up close. The main idea has to be shoot Isida at range first. Some will continue to attack...futilely.

Drive backward stablize it. both in flat and slope terrain.

 

Now my isida range is 22m, can damage farthest enemy when enemy is at bottom enemy base and i on slope in noise :3

 

Now my strategy is wait for teammate attacked first. and launh suprise attack :3

That only way i can do to kill Dictator Titan Mammoth.

And higher chance at other hull :3

luckily my Cardinal friend arrived and we beat em to it xD

There was a nug Isida that learned what to do when we was going to be over taken (was 242-240 when he got it .-. )

That 20% damage for twins is only at 80m, between 15 and 80m it should decrease linearly, at 20 maybe it is 90% damage or 80%

My favourite thing to do is just base camp in Noise with another Isida and sit on flag while everyone else attacks. Nothing gets passed us.

 

Once had 5 Isidas sitting in the base. The other team pretty much gave up towards the end.

 

I think they should double the range of Isida, let it shoot through walls, make the beam jump from enemy to enemy damaging them all, and do self healing when you heal other tanks. That, in my opinion, would create a very balanced game.

How in Earth would that be balanced? It'd be so damn OP nobody would use anything different than Isida.

On my new account I manage to evade and break away from an Isida, and wouldn't you know it , he fired again and the dang beam was hitting the ground and I blew up :(  :angry:  :blink: .*

 

I guess that failgun ability to totally noob miss, yet hit , is rubbing off on Isida. That might worry me.

 

 *And no it was not lag, I was running deep green/green on fps/ping.

Damage (tick) 33 (per half sec)

Healing (tick) 33 (per half sec)

Range (m) 23

Cone angle (deg) 20

 

That battle must be refreshing one.

Its nice to win when at middle you lossing.

That 20% damage for twins is only at 80m, between 15 and 80m it should decrease linearly, at 20 maybe it is 90% damage or 80%

Twin is not have significant decrease damage at 20m+

Only frezze that can stop it from damaging. (Ruin their aim :3)

 

I have play teambattle againts generalismo in Polygon CP No drug pro battle.

3 of enemy using Mammoth twin combo.

from score 100 (me) vs 20 (enemy)

quicky change to 120 (me) vs 150 (enemy)

Then come freeze viking combo teammate.

That sure make twin aiming useless perfectly :3

The team and me win that match with score 200 (me) vs 175 (enemy)

Even not much, isida support definitely contribute to make team win

Really hard to make point by healing heavy hull =_=

The bottom point, its nice to have freeze friend at your friend list

Yeah. You rite. The new battle map is called Do Nothing or Die.

The only way to deal with Isida groups is a DD sniper shot to the one not wearing green. ;)

I got mine cheap and almost never use it. Maybe Monte Carlo or supporting a sniper at Kungur. Other than that, I hunt them.

Umm, okay. There is no fixed percentage.

Let's look at the upgrades chart (unless you don't have Twins). Twins has to have roughly the same power at mid-distance, or it's useless. Smoky, Railgun, Shaft, Thunder, Ricochet are not range-dependent, whereas Twins has to be separately upgraded.

 

My M3 = 16-18 damage per hit, exactly 17 at max range (for me 76 meters)

 

The difference is that it semi-homes like all other weapons except sniper shaft, and though you hit with one barrel, you could miss everything with the other one.
