I just dont trust that wiki anymore, most of the things I've seen are outdated

I think you are considering this problem a lot bigger thn reality.

Every update is added to WİKİ after a week...

I think they should double the range of Isida, let it shoot through walls, make the beam jump from enemy to enemy damaging them all, and do self healing when you heal other tanks. That, in my opinion, would create a very balanced game

I usually respect others opinions, but this opinion is just... No.

Now to my question. I am starting an alternate account farming with isida. I am wanting to take the role of helper but also be able to stand on my own in case my partners die. Any suggestions on hulls you like for this? I was thinking either hunter or hornet, and if someone could give me your pros and cons of these or any other hulls you prefer to help me decide then that would be great. Thanks!

I have Hunter and Hornet (as well as all but 2 of the other hulls).

I played Hunter at first, but it`s armor isn`t much better than Hornet, and it`s just slower enough that I didn`t want to play it much.

I have played Horny+ Izzy (Hornet +Isida) 99% of the time I`ve been playing this game:

imo, Hunter and Isida are best for a Medic role. Beef up Hunter's Speed and Armor, and you'll be able to get to your team mates fairly quickly without dying too much.

I have lots of gripes concerning Hornet`s (lack of) Protection, and Paints just don`t beef up the Protection that much.

I (over) compensate with massive drug use, which many complain about

(lol, always those on the opposing teams; nobody complains when I`m saving their hide ;)

With MU`s maxed, my M2 Hornet is very fast and M2 Izzy is devastating WHEN I AM ON DRUGS...

When playing against similar ranks, I often rack up a score 200 - 300 - 400 points higher than anyone else on the board when my drug supply is full.

If you have the $$ for a large stock of drugs, and don`t care about ppl whining about it,

then Horny + Izzy can be played in a very aggressive role, or, be the best Medic on the block.

I was planning to get a good kit in the sales but theres none. So should I get isida m3

hornet m3 and irbis and play for rank?????

Buying a combo with your eyes focused on getting XP faster isn't the best thing to do. You must be able to earn some crystals too. Hornet might be a bit too weak to have a big influence on the battle. :p  However Isida m3 Hornet m3 is a good combo, but maybe you can buy another paint instead of Irbis. :p

is the isida worth it for the xp, or is the hammer better

Don't only focus on getting XP. Crystals are more important. :p However I'd still choose Isida instead of Hammer. :)

Wait! What?! You're saying you can't win a head to head battle with anyone! Impossible. :p Isida is a very strong weapon and the self-healing function makes you a fearsome opponent. But yeah, maybe just m3 isn't the very best, it needs some MUs. :p

I like isida. It's great how you can heal and kill people relatively effectively and also get points for healing team mates. Great for team battles :) :P

Hi everyone!

I like playing with Isida too, and it's an amazing weapon in game. But with recent updates, there were some modifications to it.

I'm refering especially to the auto-aiming angle. With the last updates, Isida beam now points to any part of the enemy hull, which is a very good update.

But, there is a problem: the auto-aim angle reduced and this is making less efficient in fighting against a weapon such as Ricochet, Twins,Hammer, and sometimes, Smoky. The horrizontal auto-aim angle should be reworked because now knocking off Isida's aim is easier than I was expecting. You may think that this is a little problem and it should be ignored, but i give you an example:

Most players like the Isida and light to medium hull combinations because it's a short range weapon and works best when outfited with these hulls. Given this, the light hulls are less stable than medium and heavy hulls, making easier to knock off their aim. You press the spacebar to attack the enemy, but when it uses one of the weapons mentioned before against you, for a second or two, you dont focus your beam on his hull and you loose precious energy which can make the difference between life and death. Losing energy means less damage to the enemy and less healthpoints drained, and if an Isida runs out of energy, it's almost useless in battle.

That's why the horrizotal auto-aim angle should be reworked. There are two screenshots attached

Hi there,

I have a question concerning Isida, not sure if this is the right place to post it.

I would like to know if increasing the Micro-Upgrade "Range" will increase the range of the beam only horizontally or also vertically. In other words: imagining the range of an Isida as a cone, will the cone be just longer or also wider?

I am asking this because currently I have troubles healing team-mates who are on a ramp if I'm not standing on their same ramp (very common in Noise, for example). I was wondering if I could improve the situation by fidgeting the "Range".

Given this, the light hulls are less stable than medium and heavy hulls, making easier to knock off their aim.

Andrei I solved this problem increasing the "Weight" of my hull. So far I only increased it by 7 (Hornet M2) and that was enough to face M3 twins and ricochet without having my aim knocked off. I still have issues with Hammer, but I'm sure that by increasing the weight even more the whole tank will not spin whenever hit. If what I asked above is confirmed, also the Range might help in having a wider aim-angle.
