I think Isida is actually the only thing that really makes me fumble... Although I have a paint that provides SOME protection; Urban, an M3(Or more) Isida breaks right through it. Therefore I have to switch tactics and try killing it on sight... do I think they're OP? No. Just the consistency of the damage they deal is ridiculously high(In a good way).

 

And to the post above me... why should this thread be closed? It'd be nice to see other thoughts here. Don't be so quick to get things shut down.

Besides, isida users deal a lot of pressure from team mates in TDM/CTF/CP aka "noob heal me".

This has nothing to do with them being overpowered. -.-

I have noticed in a lot of games i played lately that the biggest single threat in the game is isida

head to head with one means certain death for you no matter how much you use your supplys

 

Can it be balanced gameplay when i am using a m4 thunder and m3 spec mammoth and i am faced with a m3 hornet

and m3 isida comb and everytime its me loses?

 

Any thoughts on this topic?

Lol yeah... today I actually came across a Viking Isida Cedar player... he and I both had Double Armor on, and silly me... I tried getting him out of the Tunnel in Polygon... he ALMOST killed me, so I used a Repair... I guess I NEARLY got him, then he used a Repair on me, THEN I realized I was toast. I tried backing out, but nope, he rekt me. :lol:

If you have Isidas that do their job, it'll be a victory almost every time... Idk how many successful games I've had because of Isidas with minds.

Yeah, when you think you almost killed him after you've used a first aid yourself, they still have a first aid to be used.

Isidas get x2 times less points healing, than attacking, so if they heal, they dont get as much points as attacking

Okay, here's one way to deal with them: Attack from afar.

You even said you use Thunder, so just attack from out of range and the Leech can't do a thing.

^ Aside from pretty much everytime I encounter an Isida on a DD, I get tired of every teammate of mine who crys "Isida noob no heal me". Anybody who crys that deserves to not be healed.

 

 

Anyways, back in the day when I was a Major General, sometimes I'd see a burning tank and let him burn to death for laughs xD

M3 Isida is a major killer. I generally can't kill it with M3 Hammer. As others have said drugs do not help. You will lose any drug war with an M3 Isida.

except if youget the isida to lay dead on long range .all that requires to kill an isida is a smoky wasp or m4 shaft since most most isidas use light hulls while some use meium hulls

North of Brigadier you'll see a LOT of M3 Viking M3 Isida rigs. The Medic kit is partially responsible, but I think lots of folks have figured out the domination wrought by this combo and bought on sales or otherwise outside of the kit.

 

You're right that Isida on a light hull is an easy kill. But at high ranks I'm saying most Isidas are on Viking, which is far more formidable. A clear case of the whole being more than the sum of its parts.

No that's not true. If u want to kill isida, u have to be sooo close and move - right/left, up/down - in this situation isida often lose energy and fail with some atacks.

Well, I am an Isida user, and it is hard to kill a wasp or hornet when it is very close to you. But with your viking, you'll get electrocuted...
