I believe it!

I'm starting to think Vampire kit was a mistake.  The Mary paint is useless and the Wasp M1 is not that fast, very fragile, and extremely sluggish on acceleration.

I bought Firebird M1 and found that it does MUCH more damage than Isida, but you do sacrifice self healing, which stinks.  But Im just not sure Isida M1 and M2 for that matter are competitive.

Enough complaints.  I did make it to Warrant Officer 1 and rank to Warrant Officer 2 in a week.

I tend to agree. I was never afraid of Isida until I started running into M3+ versions. As a Rico user I could always pound an Isida into a pulp well before they drained me.

Not so with Isida M3. Those things are just insane. If they spawn near you you pretty much have to DA drug or you're toast.

Personally I dislike drugging and only do it when I have do. Check my profile if you don't believe me. My only survival tactic against Isida M3 is to wait until they have just drained an enemy and are thus low on charge. If I can do damage before they can recharge I have a chance of getting the kill. But it's not a gimme. A lot depends on what hull they are using. Medic kit or any other combo with Viking is devastating.

As a railgun user, I try to stay away from these guys, since even at M2, they can heal themselves enough between my shots to survive two hits, which is never good for me. This is a really good turret, super versatile, and really helpful on team battles (I'm sure everyone appreciates the medics ;D).

Thanks! This gives me new confidence in Isida.

I like isida because when you atack some tanker and he atacks you back you get you're health back by simply just attacking the tanker witch is very helpful in battles.

the fact that you can heal while attacking really makes a deep impact on this op turret! This actually means you do have more time to let it reload while the enemy attacks you, so in a way it significantly reduces the reload time (:

that said, I've finally made my mind up to get medic kit instead of jackhammer!

I think you'll find that a wise choice. Not sure about Cherry paint so you might want to buy Irbis. You will be OP against other turrets anyway, but you will be frustrated by other Isidas. Adding Irbis gives you the upper hand in Isida vs Isida battles. There are A LOT of deadly M3 Isidas north of Brigadier rank.

Never use isida too much because it will give so much XP that you will end up

playing with m2 tanks with yours being m0.

Not really... In team battles, where Isida thrives, the exp means it will be at the top of the team, meaning more fund as well.

I found out that using Isida will not necessarily give you more XP than say, some other turret. I found out that my Firebird gives me significantly more XP and crystals than Isida, because I am more skilled with that turret. The same is true with Freeze.

Just a few tips on Isida in regards to team battles:

1) I know a lot of people use Isida as simply an attack turret, and don't like to heal teammates. That's cool, but remember -- people see "Isida" and they think "healer", so don't be surprised if you're being followed around by low-health teammates.

2) If you are playing the role of a healer, make sure your healing takes priority over everything -- even your own K/D ratio. Often times your K/D ratio will take a dip if you play healer for a while, but you'll be rewarded with more victories (teams with medics usually beat teams without), consequentially more crystals, and even more EXP.

3) If you see two tanks fighting each other, don't attack the enemy. Instead, heal your teammate and let him get the kill. Healing can dampen or even negate the enemy's attack, but if you choose to attack, you risk losing your teammate. Remember that your primary role as a medic is support, not offense.

HI everyone. I have isida m0 and have enough crystals to buy smoky m1. what should i do? buy it or upgrade my isida?

I'd recommend saving your crystals and buying M1 Isida instead. You seem to play with Isida a lot more than Smoky (and quite honestly Smoky M1 kinda sucks). Plus, you'll get a lot more team victories as an Isida, as well as a lot of experience points.

...

Of course, I just checked your profile and saw that you bought Smoky instead, so... nevermind.

Another tip concerning Isida:

If you're going in for an attack or being bombarded or something and you have a healer behind you, DON'T be a coward and run away. There's nothing more frustrating to a medic than a cowardly teammate, because if the teammate runs, that leaves the medic as a sitting duck. Instead, keep pushing forward like you were normally. Trust that the medic will keep you alive. If you die because of his incompetence, that's his fault, but if you turn tail and both of you die, that's your fault.

In short, if you've a medic, be brave. He'll do his best to keep you alive, you worry about getting kills and racking up that sweet K/D.

^the same applies to any teammate. Especially in CTF battles. I can't tell you how many times I have tried to back out of the blue base in Rio only to jam into my teammate.
