Dad, don't make me cite about seventeen far more serious problems! lol

Nah, isida is the worst. Isida stink. Isida are always frustrating.

I suppose I have adapted to all the other crap changes Tanki has made over the last several months. The Overdrive (zero-supply) in team matches is probably worse, but hopefully that won't be back, except maybe in DM.

Isida are crap. Isida players are always annoying, always frustrating. I can't stand them as opponents, and they are frustrating as teammates 80-90% of the time. To me, isida as is is the biggest frustration, biggest mistake Tanki has made in several months.

Perhaps the opposition against Isida is fueled by (im)balance issues regarding turrets in-battle.  One of the major issues, I believe, is that one team ends up having more Isidas than the other, creating undesired imbalance in terms of healing ability.  I'm sure most of us are aware of how essential healing is in any game.

However, there are certainly those who abide by soloist gameplay, wielding their turret and getting crucial kills for the battle objective.  For them, going Rambo is the most satisfactory high to be feeling.  So it is no wonder that Rambos rage when they are squashed by a stronger opposition that is sometimes supported by Isidas.  Perhaps some hate Isida because of this potential of slanting battles towards one team.

I would suggest maybe reworking the system of Public battles to guarantee Isidas on both teams, but that would be too complicated.  If anyone is angry at Isidas, I would also invite them to look at the current system of Public battles (which is terribly hit-or-miss).

Below is a dramatic and totally inaccurate reenactment  of one who dislikes Isida:

Reason is overrated!  Kill Isida Ded Now; He stole my Frag!!1!!1 Because I want my vision of TO, my enjoyment of the game, even if it harms other players' experience of the game!

Is isida not the worst turret for f2p because you get way more exp than crystals so you can never buy product kits on time?

Interesting point. That is an angle I'd never conceived.

However it does not seem to affect me. I bought my m2 kit right when I qualified. Now it is MU 10 so my m3 versions are already bought and paid for several hundred thousand exp points still do go before I can get them. So no kit needed  anymore with the new MU system.

I get a solid majority of my Cry from mission rewards.  But those misguided players who powerlevel might encounter exactly the problem you describe.

I am sure the new matchmaking system will do this

isida, and hornet are a great combination and it will get you alot of XP and crystals to start out if you are a beginner. But i think that isida, and hornet is a great combination to use. i think that is what you should use if you are hunting for XP and crystals to buy M1/M2/M3 hulls or turrets. i know most people use Shaft and Mammoth to get  some XP an d crystals, but Isida and Hornet are a better way to get crystals and XP.

I believe it's because your team mates are all around you. Healing someone here and there will get you small amounts of XP but quite rapidly. Especially with these Magnums bombarding your base. Two Isida's can heal the base defenders and keeping themselves alive; scoring great amounts of XP in the process. It's almost like farming XP lol.

Isida is the only Turret that can heal team mates so it is expected to give you a bit of boost in terms of experience but there are some players out there who never use Isida and use other Turrets and Hulls and still gain quite a lot of experience or XP so I guess it depends on the indivual. :)

Thats actually true, all the other alternations seem more effective and practical but those ones for Isida are rather useless.

You are right. Save your money.

The m1 alteration is a Noob Crutch. It is for people who cannot point their turrets. For anyone who can turn a turret the m1 alteration is a self-inflicted nerf.

The m2 alteration is decent is intent rotten in implementation. As ahealer my job is to keep my teammates alive longer. One way to do this is to help kill the enemy. Often that is the best way to save your teammate. Then with the enemy dead you heal you team mate back to full.

But not ig you have self-nerfed yourself by buying the m2 alteration. Then you are a 1-trick pony.
