Winning does not make the difference it used to. Now that rewards have been re-divided between winners/losers winning does not offer a 100% benefit. Killing does offer a 100% benefit over healing in terms of your score.

Even without the alt you can heal for 2x as long as you can attack.  So being able to kill a tank if you are last line of defense is important.

Have never tried but - can you unequip an alteration during a battle?

Killing does not offer a net benefit if I can heal three tank for every tank I'd kill. So focusing only on kills is probably sub-optimum.

Like I said it is situational. If you are in situation where there are many allies nearby you normally start to save your energy to keep them up anyway. In these situations you can get even more mileage with the alt.  Without the alt a Titan will eat up basically a full bar. With DD two heavies will render you inert. With this you have a little gas in the tank all times except the heaviest action..

I have made a couple kills with it too, when circumstances forced attack. With DD it is an Isida w/o DD. :)

The alt is by no means a requirement. But as my Isida account was in a situation of LOTS of cash + NOTHING else to buy for 250,000 exp points I figured I should own it. (This was TO BD: Before Drones) Since I own it I have used it a couple times when it came in handy. If you are a full time career healer you will be glad you dropped the 50k.

OK - I revise my original assessment to say that buying the healing alt is not a complete waste of crystals (if you have nothing else to buy).

That is not true. You don't have enough stamina to heal as much as you can kill. This doesn't work. I tested this theory and I usually finish in the LAST 3 players(but usually last) if I heal 100% of the time. If I heal 50% of the time I finish somewhere in the middle, and if I don't heal at all, without the healing alt, I finish in the first 3 players on my team. This is NOT theory, this is actual gameplay.

Revise it again. Buying the healing alt IS a complete waste of crystals.

That's when I bought it.  :P

I d not reccommend healing 100% of the time. Nor killing 100% of the time. That was my point. Teh optimum is going to involve both.

You are welcome to your opinoin. I will stick with mine. I used the alt today in fact.

ugly overpowered turret that can kill you in 1 second while healing a mammoth in 2 seconds, needs a nerf

Isida is already nerfed enough.

If u hate it, fine by me. Everyone has their own combo and preferences.

You clearly hate Tanki, so just leave already instead of toxifying Tanki's community. We have enough of your group.

It's my opinion, if you don't like it you can go out of this topic.

Obviously you don't think it's only your opinion, because you exaggerate every little thing you say. "Ugly turret no one likes, require no skill"...

And also, don't start a flame war. Not in the mood.

Soo, tell me, who likes getting killed in 1 second by a weapon that can heal all its team in a moments? That has no counterplay! Does it really take skill to go near someone, press spacebar, and kill him in no time? For me not!

As I already said, it's my opinion, if you don't like it, there is an X in your browser so you can go out. As simple as that.

Why the heck would you let him near you in the first place? You're taking me into the hypothetical world, yet you're not taking all the possibilities into consideration.

It's my opinion also, why should you care?

Well, isidas are usually in light hulls, which can go near you easily, it is not me who goes next to them. Also, you are replying to my opinions, so you are the one that cares, don't you? Typical, the kid that tries to be smart but doesn't know how to make a coherent argument  ;)

You have 61 hours with Smoky, it should be very rare that an Isida comes anywhere even close to you. If you need to complain about them that often, it sounds like your lack of skill.

What hull can an Isida kill in one second?

You seem to hate a lot of turrets.  So which turret do you not hate, and consider requires skill?

You seem to hate a lot of turrets.  So which turret do you not hate, and consider requires skill?

Let's put this example. You are a light hull user, at m4. You are going around and suddenly, a double damage isida m4 appears. isida m4 deals 1000 damage per second. Double damage: 2000 damage per second. Soo, it can kill a light hull in a second as I said. Hornet AND wasp die in a second to isida. Then, if you are underleveled, you will also die in a second as a medium hull

Which turret requires skill? Railgun, Twins magnum USED AS AN ARTILLERY and not as a close range 1 shot weapon, firebird, and striker. The others are pretty much press spacebar and kill with no skill at all. I'd say smoky but it getting 1 shot by critical hit at double damage isn't seen as skill by me, a smoky user.

So Isida with drugs.  And why does target not use drugs?  Like DA?  Cancels DD.

Did you know an m0 smoky can 1-shot an m0 MEDIUM hull?  From much farther away than an isida can?

See what I did there?  ;)

Wait. Firebird and twins require skill?

Well, twins does require user to know how to place the brick.

And Magnum... um... hide-check.  lay mines-check.   Camp all battle and BOOM.

Isida is in the first place again. First it was freeze but then they nerfed it so isida is better now. Have been using it lately and I like it.

Completely agree with this, although all of the short range guns are quite sluggish overall these days...  :(

Sluggish?

Medium hulls have never been faster. Short range weapons have take so much advantage from this.
