The healing nerf completely killed Isida, 400 healing is a joke compared to the damage some guns do, before it was perfect.

 

People are wrong when they think isida's are rarely seen in battle because of Drones, alterations, hulls abilities xp gain and stuff.

 

Either if you want to keep this ridicolous healing/s you should increase the energy pool to 15/20 seconds, no argues if i can keep healing a friend for 20 seconds straight, even with pathetic healing/s.

 

Isida should be buffed back, otherwise it's useless.

 

P.s. this game is completely gone, the balance was thrown out the window, i can't understand how you people still are able to play it.

Only consider an isida kit if you have not done many upgrades on your current Isida.

 

NONE of the isida alterations are worth it.  Stay with stock.  Spend your crystals on upgrades or modules or work to another combo.

i like to play defense only but also i like to move as fast as i can but it seems like my viking is trash

If your Isida is m2 6/10 I do not recommend you buy any m3 kit with Isida in it - all those crystals to make it 6/10 would be wasted.

 

If you dislike Viking, Hunter might be better for you, especially if you like defense on modes like CTF.  But keep in mind Hunter and Viking have almost same speed.  Hornet is faster but - the hornet OD not all that great with turrets like Isida.  Most players already don't equip modules against that so you do not gain a lot of benefits.

I was in a pretty similar situation to you actually. I did end up buying the ant kit (M3 ISIDA M3 WASP) when I reached the rank even though I had M2 isida at 7/10. You're still very far from the rank so see how many crystals you can save as you get closer. 

 

It might be a better idea to buy an M3 kit that doesn't have isida and wait 2 ranks to get isida by fully upgrading it - it takes a while though... I have isida M3 18/20 and I havent even reached the rank to buy other M3s

Actually you should use broadband radiators on anything that isn't titan/mammoth, or you will immediately lose any viking encounter at melee range because the beam misses. And others can strafe on your side just as well to cut the beam. This doesn't happen with broadband.

Bought this a few days ago and have been playing around with it, very glad I listened to your advice. As soon as you get used to the reduced range, it’s a good upgrade from stock.

... It has more DPS (1000)  than the other two unless you're facing an incendiary mix firebird (1050). And there are like 1 protection modules vs isida every 3 battles. Of course it kills fast when it has no modules to face. m4 deals 250 per tick. Otherwise support nanobots can keep someone alive against practically anything that isn't oneshots. Didn't get buffed, just nobody cares to defend vs isida when things like rail thunder and shaft exist.

This bug happens with all game modes. Only during healing team mates. When I heal players with self damage, I don't get experience points or score points. That is not fair. I also noticed because of this bug, that it is so easy to kill Isida players.

 

Since Isida is so buggy now, I don't use Isida anymore.

Shiki was an enemy Isida who was healing the Incediary Vulcan that my Incendiary Vulcans were shooting.

If the exp was brought back up I feel like the power leveling would come back.

 

But again, I don't see lowering the exp as a good solution to power levelling since it also punishes honest players.

Before Isida's exp levels were changed powerlevling was everywhere. I am not sure how much of an issue it is right now.

The past power levelling wasn't due to Isida. It was due to poor game balance and performance. Now, this does not happen anymore. One of the reasons why the matchmaking was introduced to Tanki Online was to eliminate sabotage and power levelling.
