If you like M1 enough to want M2, you are going to absolutely adore M3.

 

Facing Isida, I always thought it was a joke - until I ranked to Brigadier and faced Isidas which I could not kill.

 

So I decided to create an alt Vampire_Medic to see just how good Isida really is. Bought M0, then M1 with Vampire kit, then M2 with the Stinger kit.

 

Then the June sale happened and I bought M3 Isida on my main, this account. Terrifyingly good in death matches. Game changing in team battles. Crystal and Exp hound all around.

 

For me the weird thing about the timing of my purchases meant I really never used M2. By the time I bought Stinger on my alt, the June sale let me get M3 on my main. Vampire_Medic is collecting dust. Might try a different turret, but that account is crystal poor, so IDK

When I gotten M2 isida yesterday I gotten pass the first set of numbers fast and BTW I'm a captain rank now. For ranking up isida is the best. I think I know why people think isida is overpowered. I always play with Viking hull and I don't think isida is overpowered the reason people think is overpowered because the majority of people play with Hornet. This is the reason why people think isida is overpowered. It's because hornet has less health than viking so that means the self-healing can keep up with incoming damage but with heavier hulls like viking it can't keep up. A side from double damage doubling self-heal (Tanki needs to fix this) it's the hull that plays the difference with a lighter hull the self-heal can keep up but with a heavier hull the self-heal can't keep up as the self-heal is the same for all hulls.

It's because hornet has less health than viking so that means the self-healing can keep up with incoming damage but with heavier hulls like viking it can't keep up.

Ahh... what do you mean by "keep up"? If I'm facing a Ricochet with an Isida/Hornet, I'm going to be taking as much damage and regaining as much health as though I were using an Isida/Viking. Like you said, the self-heal is the same for all hulls.

And no, Isida isn't "overpowered" because people use it with Hornet. Most people dislike Isidas because they're hard to counter. The only way to get healed on a team that doesn't have Isidas is to pick up a rather rare Repair Kit drop (or drug, but... that's another story), but if you've an Isida behind you, you've got a steady stream of health to keep you going, no matter where you are.

Isida is a absolute beast when i drug it and im not lagging.same for my Twins M1.when it has DD it does about a Smoky shot per purple ball

As an Isida user, I would drop this turret in a heartbeat if damage was nerfed.

Bottom line, I mostly agree with you. Isida, especially M3 is a bit too powerful offensively. It's healing I think is ok though, maybe a bit underpowered but I am also low on the MU scale.

Isida shouldn't be the turret dominating DMs these days. It's a support/healing turret first and a offensive weapon second. The fact that it can wipe out almost any combo at close range doesn't really establish that doesn't it?

Mounted it on Titan and went into a few TDM battles, which I usually ignore. Has a TDM mission. Did pretty well in a small map keeping my team mates alive.

Thanks, I need to get an M2 to go along with the Hornet M2 I will purchase that will last me till Major so I can get Firebird M2, because I won't make it to that rank on my M1's without some struggle and dropping of D/l.  Thanks for the advise, now I know what I will get.

Don't sweat D/L. It doesn't mean anything. But I agree with your plan to swap out for Firebird M2 - one of the best M2s in the game. If you find you like Isida, M3 is the one to get when you eventually unlock it.

Hey guys... just need a few opinions: Should I buy M0 Isida on my Master Sergeant account (1650 crys) considering the amount of EXP I would gain back?

 

I have almost 10k crystals on my alternate, but am saving for Mystic kit.
