Isida's range (in my opinion) is actually a welcome update, because since the last time Tanki screwed with Isida, they messed up the control system greatly.

Now it's hard to even heal your own teammates -.-

I used Isida for a while - if your teammates are running around like headless chickens, then yes, it's difficult to heal them. If you have a good team that actually cooperates it's a lot easier. Wasps are also a lot more difficult to heal/attack than Titans or Mammoths - they tend to run away from you and if you can't get a stable connection you can't do anything.

Ramps are hard, though, since you can't hold the connection the entire way

You use Wasp-Isida, right?

That would kill my computer, the poor thing can barely hold a connection. .-.

It might TELL you it's a computer, but I'm pretty sure it's just a cereal box with buttons drawn on it.

Try Twins... <_<

Around two thirds of the time the computer I use is obliging and I have 30-40 FPS, maaayybe 50 if I'm really lucky

Sometimes, though, it's around 10-20, with drops (those are really annoying, it freezes, I have to wait a few seconds, everything goes crazy and I die, then respawn  <_<)

And Twins is horrible with lag

A lot worse than Isida

One thing is certain. Isida is in the annoying turrets and hulls group. Every time I'm in a battle its like ''Tag your it'' except with the isida instead of being it you just die, and when its on supplies you might as well give up that isida isn't gonna die anytime soon. Plus if it goes in groups of isidas then you better switch teams if you wanna win cause those isidas can only be destroyed if you isolate each of them leaving you vulnerable to an enemy attack. Isida.... helpful but also annoying (I'm not isidas btw, I used them a lot on my other account). But they are helpful for getting a lot of XP.

I frankly find it an interesting gameplay.  You're a teamplayer, not only is the Damage great and prolonged since you heal yourself in the process, but you keep the team alive- not to mention extend a Drugger's life by a long time. It doesn't get boring for me- and the rewards are worth it.

In every battle you need an isida, it can help you alot. For example if one of your teammates is carrying the flag you can heal him and protect him from enemies so that he can capture the flag peacefully :)

if you heal the flagrunner he might give u the flag

Scenario: Island 3v3 DM. Your opponents are all Mammoth M3, Isida M3 with double damage.

What do you do?

That would probably require 3 shafts on double power to take them out. Pretty simple task as long as at least 2 shafts stay together, and a third diverts the isidas

iSo you have it within you to be the ''medic/healer/silent killer'' on the field huh? Being an Isida player is an art that takes grace and finesse. There are three 'types of Isida players. The "poor to fair", The "good" And the "EPIC"!!!You have the power to turn the tide of a battle to victory or completely cause your team to crash and burn in defeat. The MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember when playing Isida is to try and be as stealthy as a shadow, never letting whom ever you are casting your death/healing beam upon to know you are even there. Example: When you spot an enemy to send to the scrap yard, Do you SLAM into them as you unleash your fury or do you find a discrete vantage point to execute them? IF you are the methodical well versed Isida player, You silently slide up on them and before they even know whats happening you have drained their energy and left them like an old crumpled juice box. Well... The same applies when healing your team mates !!! ESPECIALLY Shaft - Rail gun - Thunder and Hammer. These turrets take the longest to "reload" for the next shot and are very vulnerable as they wait for there ammo to reload. If you so much as nudge a shaft or rail gun as they are about to deliver a round, IF they miss their target, It can not only cost them their "lives", But it could be the winning shot that takes your team to VICTORY or utter Defeat !!! The Rail guns is arguably, the most "delicate and precise" weapon on the battle field as of this posting. And the margin of error is VERY SMALL, and using this turret with a deadly effectiveness takes many many hours for most, its that precise. So when you come blazing up and SLAM into them, you have basically rendered them in-effective and left them AND yourself open to an attack from the opposing team. Rail gunners usually need a little space to function properly, that's why you see them "rock" back and forth or "duck and dodge" from behind objects. After they take their shot they are totally helpless as they wait for their ammo to reload. If you spot a team mate who is in need of your life giving / game winning assistance, Be mindful as how you approach them and where you park as you fix them. If you park behind them or in their escape route from their shooting point, They cant take cover as the wait those few precious and agonizing moments for their next shot. Leaving them open as an easy target. And especially in the case of "Team Death match" this can have disastrous effect on the game for your team. Be mindful as to where you decide to place yourself in battle. Not only will you find yourself less of a victim but more so a victor!! Did you also know that because of your ammo, You explode with more force than all the other tanks? This can kill, cripple or devastate a group of your team mates you are close to if someone gets a kill shot on you. But this also works in reverse! If you are going to be destroyed, get as close to as many enemy tanks as possible. When you do explode, you will in effect become a "kamikaze" OR bomb on wheels, killing or damaging as many of them as possible !!! (Haa Haa take that you dirty scoundrels! ) These are only a few of the finer points of being an EPIC Isida player and invaluable team mate. The rest will have to be learned as you battle your way to the top !!! Be thoughtful and strategic in how you play and you will see your success and value as a Tanki player gain new ground and earning MORE CRYSTALS !!!

http://en.tankiwiki.com/Global_update_of_game_balance_for_Tanki_Online

Let's take a look at what's going to happen to Isida. I think it gets nerfed way too much. Maybe it should be nerfed a bit but  it gets a decrease in damage, healing, % of healing gets from 50% to 10%, worse reaload, less range and gets an increase in turret rotation speed and you can shoot a bit longer. It seems just too much for me. I feel like I've done a big mistake when I bought it and MUed it 27/50...probably I should have spent around 250k for something else...And I was actually planning to get it M4 as fast as possible before getting these news...

What do you think about this? Maybe I'm wrong and Isida will be fine after the update...But I want to hear some more opinions

I believe that Isida's damage is being decreased because all the hulls except for the light hulls are getting a decrease in health. As for the self-healing, Isida's self healing was wayy to OP with DD, so I think that this nerf was reasonable. As a shaft, I had such an issue with Isida's that I would not buy a paint without some Isida protection. The range was a bit far IMO so that little decrease in range was also deserved. Overall, I think that Isida will not be nerfed too badly, I will get to see this on my lower rank account with Isida m3 as well.

Isida has weaker damage, less range and less self healing. Therefor it can sustain its beam for 9sec now instead of 7 sec in the past. The overall healingoutput and overall damageoutput per charge is increased, but as the reload is not adapted accordingly, the DPS and HPS is decreased.

As most tanks onthe field are light and medium - and their health is almost untouched by this rebalance - the isida is effectively nerved.

I know it was overpowered by its selfhealing on drugs... but this was an issue of [selfhealing on drugs] and not an issue of the overall isida specs.

-_- now its going to be expensive.

Also going to be boring.

With (proposed?) 10% self-heal good luck in combat.

So it can now sit in it's own base attached to a Titan-Vulcan like a remora and heal. Wow...

Self healing should be increased to 35% on M4. And the damage should be increased to what it is right now.. I think that would make Isida pretty balanced, and not too OP.

They should keep the stats of the new update, like 10% self-healing, except make it lock on to you within 20 meters, so if you back away out of 20 meters, the beam will still do damage until 30 meters, but they can't START firing at you unless they are within 20 meters.  I think this would make the new isida balanced.
