The most overpowered weapon in the game only becuase of the self-healing,the self-healing must be removed!!!!

The isida has a small blast radius, and they heal other people without healing themselves. It;s there since if their the only isilaa on the team, then everyone else will get health, but not them.

Did you really just reply to a post from 3 years ago?

Ah but the Freeze will close the distance and the firebird- well, Firebird is underpowered. Let's not talk about that.

The freeze has an advantage but they do not beat me every time.  If they are not at point blank range when the battle starts I have the chance to keep the distance open somewhat. A lot of this has as much to with driving as with the shooting.

If I am ambushed from behind yeah it is all but impossible to kill a freeze. But if I ambush the freeze he dies so that's fair. And which turret exactly lives though a freeze ambush? That's not unique to Isida.

As for the Firebird being underpowered ... I thought it was the poor Isida that was underpowered... hence this debate. :)

I am not saying Isida is a dominant turret still. I am saying it is powerful in its intended role: team play in CTF, CP, and TDM. It holds its own in its secondary role: solo DM.

I don't quite know what you mean by "holds it's own". Even with vastly superior skills the Isida is quite useless in DM.

OK, whatever.  I must be imagining the dozens of DM matches where I've never finished in the bottom half. [shrug]

It's.....different at the higher ranks.....just....take my word for it. ;)

Someone in some string mentioned repair kits negate the freezing effect?  Not my experience last night. Had Freeze protection, and as I started to crystalize I hit RK.  No reducing of effect  .  I just became an ice-block and died. Maybe I was too close to death and RK did not kick in?

Can ayone confirm the RK negates freezing?

As for the ambush. Except for one-shot-kills like Rail with DD, against most turrets you at least have the chance to inflict some damage before destruction. Not so with Freeze. You don't even get a chance to reply once. At least that's my experience vs M3+.

Does anyone else think its kinda multing if an isida joins a DM match?

How?  The only one they can possibly be hurting is themselves (since Isida is relatively slow at killing without DD)...

Or did you mean TDM?  Even then - if they pair up with large hulls they can keep it alive to inflict lots of destruction.

Can you elaborate?

You don't remember the countless times you've killed Freezes at distances?

Yes, RK does re-set the freezing effect.  It's happened many times, I've been completely behind them and freezing them, they pop a RK because they know they don't have a chance against me otherwise, and turn completely around easily. Maybe for you it took time to register. It also re-sets the afterburn effect from Firebird. You can see this in the wiki description for "Repair Kit" or simply look at the symbols in the garage.

And who would care? One easier enemy to provide kills for you. :)

I believe you, but then the matter is with the m4 Isida's specs relative to other m4 turrets - because the basic design works well on the m0, m1, m2 level.

And once again, as a new player without the pre-conceptions of veteran players, I would full expect my team-oriented turret to be somewhat  lackluster in solo play.

There are 11 other turrets now to choose from if DM is a player's one and only joy

Absolutely gorgeous gun, it can even play a girl from an elementary school. But if you are a boy and play with Isida you are no longer a boy, and a cross between a boy and a girl. Simply this gun only Shaft and Hammer.

1. IMO Isida's physical looks are terrible.

2. WTH.

3. Shaft and Hammer I don't understand.

Here goes:

Isida is an absolutely gorgeous gun.

Even a girl in elementary school can use it.

However if you are male and use Isida it means you are no longer truly male.

Only Shaft and Hammer are simpler (in terms of their use.)

So... Twins is... complicated?  I know it requires an extra piece of equipment (the infamous "brick") - but still...

I've never seen an isida higher than M1 that doesn't drug and have 40 protection against my gun. Plus they chase me. Even if I do escape I end up with 1% life.

Its more far than mult then. Its your natural enemy :P

Mult mean not active player, and some people considered weak player is same with mult as both make your team weak.

And the only solution for your problem is... drug back, change turret or/and use isida protection.: :P

Well I am starting to see the return of the Eediot Isidas I've literally driven on top of an Isida trying to get it to notice a wounded teammate and this was not near a combat area. In the past couple days I've seen several Isidas charge past all allies in order to attack..

My suspect: The new Isida alteration to boost self-heal. The Preciosssss is back to a limited extent and with it come the return of the Gollums.

And this noob has news for the Tanki community: These Isida players are the actual noobs. They simply suck at playing Tanki.

The Precioussss supporters: Is this really the sort of game play that makes Tanki a more interesting game?

I guess that's good news for the other team, or anyone trying to destroy them.

40 protection against... ?  Switch turrets maybe to avoid the protection?

And using an M1 for... attack in battles vs Majors +?  LOL.
